Wonderful place to eat!! I had the pimento BLT and it was the best BLT I have ever had!! I only wish I would have had the bread toasted. Very friendly service.

One of my favorite brunch spots! Service is always fast and courteous and the food is awesome! I almost always get the eggs Benedict with the fried green tomato and sub a biscuit instead of the English muffin. Every time, it is perfect and does not disappoint.

Before today, I had not been here in at least a year and what I can remember the food was great before. However, this morning I was very disappointed! The bacon and eggs had been cooked for quite a while prior to our order and did not even taste like bacon or eggs. Almost like old grease and onions. The bacon was cold, chewy, and just gross. My boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy and it was also horrible. The gravy was soooo spicy he couldn’t even taste any other part of the gravy because it was just spicy. Eggs had no taste, cold and felt like rubber. Stuffed French toast was great though! Most aggravating part of our experience was that no one even asked how our food was or if we enjoyed it. Just a simple “your total is $36, swipe your card when your ready” Not sure I’ll be back.

We have been here a few times as and when we are in Lynchburg. We usually have breakfast and it has always been good. The building is older and full of character, the menu is good the staff are pleasant. What more can you ask for? Oh and not a TV in sight I’m pleased to say which only adds to the ambiance. It can get busy on a Sunday so be prepared for that.

Busy place after church but it didn’t take long to get seated. Our food was delicious. My husband had the omelette made to order and I had the Norfolk and Western (hamburger, egg cheese and relish). We love the atmosphere of the downtown location too!

First time in Lynchburg and as luck would have it we found this place. Food was great. I want the recipe for their Cole slaw!!!We will pass this way again for sure.Kid-friendliness: As long as it wasn't crowded, there was enough space to allow kids to be kids within reason.Parking: We found a spot across the street! Several lots within a block.Wheelchair accessibility: Single floor and no steps to navigate going in or out.

Go for the Eggs Benny! Great little diner in a historic setting. Service is always friendly, quick and the menu is a crowd pleaser. Very fair prices too. Has been a hit with my family and friends every time.

Nice little restaurant. Went for breakfast. Food was decent. Didn't care for the green fried tomatoes. Service was good. Nice atmosphere would go again.

Amazing place! I love the atmosphere, so cozy and homey. It it made me feel like I was in a country diner tucked away further down south, but it's in the heart of downtown Lynchburg! The counter/bar area around the grill gives a retro feel. The food is so delicious and service was great! I had the fried green tomatoes, veggie omelet with turkey sausage, red roasted potatoes, wheat toast. The coffee was terrific too, great flavor and fresh. The multi color "yes mam" shirts are a nice touch as well. They offer no contact menu and have a nice wine stock available.I will definitely be going back to Market at Main. Is this the next area restaurant that you should try? "YES MAM!"
Super excellent! Very good food and attentive service.

This is one of the old fine dining restaurants in town that has announced its closing. Specialized in Austrian/Swiss cuisine but a great dessert cart. Will be missed.

The hard work the owner puts in shows with the menu and service. I'm sure that you will agree that the food is one of the best in town.

They used to have very good food and service. They are obviously struggling financially, and as their portions are very small and food quality has taken a dive. Instructions were not followed, ie please put the sauce on the side. Our meal came smothered in a sauce that was way too salty. The meat was not cooked properly and served almost raw. We will not be returning. $120 could have been spent much better.
