Coffee not good. Extremely burnt taste. Some beans were roasted in December, and it’s May. Employees were friendly.
While waiting on our order we watched one worker fill her personal cup with the ice scoop. She stuck in completely down in her personal cup then placed it back in the holder to be used for orders without washing it. Then the same employee along with another one ate what looked like cake over the open ice bin and on the counter where orders were being made. After working in food service I know these are against health regulations.

I arrived to Lynchburg last night at 7:45pm and immediately came to Mission House and left so disappointed. I moved to TN 3 years ago and try to visit any time I get to come back. As soon as I got up to the counter to order, I was told I can only get hot drip coffee or an iced coffee… no espresso or anything because they had shut the bar down. I ended up leaving empty handed… I understand not making food or anything close to closing, but why stay open as a coffee shop till 8 if you can’t make anything other than pre-made drip coffee. :( Otherwise, in the past my drinks have been really good.
The love sick frappe is awesome!!! Check it out.

Iced lattes are always on point!
I’ve been here several times now and what has stood out to me is the coffee is delicious and the service is phenomenal. They seem seem very intentional about using their business as a blessing to others and it shows in the service. I look forward to next time!

Nice coffee shop, coffee is little on the acidic side, their medium roasts taste more of a medium/ light roast. Still very good and provides a bold but yet flavorful coffee

EDIT: The owner Tommy reached out and made it right and offered me a refund and a free drink. I will give them the benefit of the doubt with this being just an off drink, because it seems like the owner truly cares about the customer and making good coffee drinks. I got a brown sugar latte…and it tasted like straight milk. I paid over $6 for a cup of milk. I can make a much better and stronger latte at home. It won’t let me attach picture, but my cup was almost completely white
