I arrived to Lynchburg last night at 7:45pm and immediately came to Mission House and left so disappointed. I moved to TN 3 years ago and try to visit any time I get to come back. As soon as I got up to the counter to order, I was told I can only get hot drip coffee or an iced coffee… no espresso or anything because they had shut the bar down. I ended up leaving empty handed… I understand not making food or anything close to closing, but why stay open as a coffee shop till...
I’ve been here several times now and what has stood out to me is the coffee is delicious and the service is phenomenal. They seem seem very intentional about using their business as a blessing to others and it shows in the service. I look forward to next time!
I actually went to the Cornerstone location, but did not see a place to review that one. The location was good. The service was even better! A coffeeshop is not just about the coffee; it's also about the experience and atmosphere. Many times I have gone into restaurants where the employees don't even greet you when you come in. From the second I stepped in, I felt welcomed and the employees were genuine. That's how you get customers to return.
