I was here a few years ago visiting family. Stopped in again and had some of the best pastries! And a slice of quiche with a salad with lunch. Really delicious. Everyone who works there is so nice and gave me some suggestions for other local restaurants. It’s beautiful inside as well. A nice place to hang out and enjoy your food.

This place was one of my favorite stops along our 3,425-mile and 24-day back roads road trip. It was late afternoon, we were tired, and had a little time before checking into our hotel. While in Lynchburg, we searched for a coffee shop that was actually open later in the afternoon. This was not the place we chose, but once we saw it nearby, we quickly changed our minds to try Montana Plains Bakery. We just had a cup of coffee and shared a cream puff. Both totally delicious. We noticed all of their fresh bread and items in the case. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stop here!

Always good and fresh. Staff is great and the choices of Baked goods always excellent. I always recommend people to stop by if they can when visiting.

I accidentally found this shop wile I was taking a walk in the neighborhood. I was looking for lunch and came just a little too late for their sandwich shop-it closes down at 3- but I was able to pick up a couple treats to take home and they were DELICIOUS! I look forward to getting a chance to try their lunch next time.
The cashier gave me a cream cheese pastry muffin thing that was INCREDIBLE. I have a new addiction. If you're in the area you definitely need to check them out!!

Awful service. I tried to pick up my mobile order. But since they didn’t separate my order I couldn’t get my bakery. And also the old lady in the counter is not kind at all. Terrible service. Get rid of the mobile order if you guys can’t keep up with that. Very disappointed.

Moe helped me and my girlfriend when we arrived in the last few minutes before they closed. Naturally, nobody likes to deal with last minute arrivals, but Moe helped us feel welcomed and appreciated in the bakery.
Phenomenal service and the sweet treats were delicious. Thank you for making our night, Moe!

Had a great experience getting a gigantic, very fresh muffin there. Great value for $3. Had some outdoor seating that was nice as I biked there.

Parking: Street parking is hit or miss but I can usually get a spot if not there is a lot behind the store with plenty of parking and an entrance from the back lot.

Excellent coffee drinks served with decorative patterns in froth. Friendly service, warm, cozy ambience, soft music. On busy street, but well insulated so you don't hear any traffic on inside.

UPDATED REVIEW:good food & good service from the employees.it doesn't matter to me, but they unfortunately don't sell anything vegan & there's only a few gluten-free options.if you don't require either of those i highly recommend!

A friend told me about this place, and I couldn’t help but stop in ! I absolutely love the food, and the positive atmosphere this place provides. It is so cozy ! A woman named Madisyn assisted me, and she was SO SWEET ! She definitely made my day ! We even got to talking and realized we had a lot of common interests ! I’d recommend this bakery to anyone looking for a cozy spot ! My visit was definitely an enjoyable experience ! ?
