Waiter was great, food was not so great. Honestly I think it comes down to the type of food I got, It was the eggs Benedict. The ham was definitely low quality and the eggs could have been better. Honestly wish I got the chicken and waffles because it looked great from other people's plates.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice before and have loved it! My family came to visit from NY and I wanted to take my mom there for her birthday. We had 6 people in our party and the staff told us it would be a 45 minute wait. That was fine and understandable. Eventually, they called us back a little early letting us know that tables were available outside. We were seated at two separate tables (3 at one table and 3 at the other). When the waitress seated us, I asked if we could combine the two tables so that our entire group could be together. It was a simple ask that many restaurants accommodate but she refused, and so, a group that came together had to eat separately. I believe that customers should be properly accommodated and if the proper seating was not available, we should have been notified. The food was good but the overall environment and service made me not want to return to this restaurant.

The reputation of this joint is accurate. We loved it! From French toast and a breakfast sandwich, to a burger and cheese steak, all the food was excellent. Our server was prompt and courteous, leaving us with no complaints. The atmosphere is clean and modern but still cozy. Even at 35-40° the enclosed outdoor space was probably doable. Highly recommended for breakfast and lunch. Bring your dog - this is the spot.

This is a must stop if you are in Lynchburg. I drive the one hour just to have breakfast there. It’s my number one spot to break bread with friends/family or just myself when I’m in the area. No lie tho- I will plan trips to Lynchburg just so I can tuck my feet under their table. That’s just how good the food is.

My group of 3 had a fabulous Saturday brunch experience from service to taste of the poached eggs I tried. The wait was a bit long but with great weather, plenty of benches and a little treat from Mrs Joys Absolutely Fabulous Treats across the street, we were fine.

We were in Lynchburg enjoying the fall colors and its history and had the opportunity to enjoy breakfast at My Dog Duke’s Diner. This is a really nice diner with indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating is dog friendly (no surprise 👍🏻). The service was awesome, with a very friendly and attentive staff, and so was the food. We also enjoyed a caramel latte. We were told the coffee roaster is out of Richmond and the coffee was truly excellent. We had to purchase a few of their shirts as part of the proceeds go to helping feed the pets of seniors who get help from Meals on Wheels. Great food, great people support a great cause. Pretty awesome.

Food was delicious and plentiful. Service was very slow. Staff were dismissive and defensive about wait times. Table service was bare minimum; server checked in one time during the entire meal and I had to get up twice myself for refills.
