I had been to a lot of Japanese restaurants, but none of them were like Osaka. They got the best teriyaki chicken in town. I highly recommend them. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.
Osaka's has been a staple to Lynchburg for many years. Hibachi Steak and Shrimp is always my go to order.
Sushi is always good too here.

I had a hair in my to go order and they refused to give me my money back or make my order new unless I drove all the way back to their restaurant. I live in Appomattox and picked the order up after work. When I got home I opened and found the hair. I called and they refused to do anything and were also rude telling me I’m waisting my time. I used to love this place but I don’t think I will be going anymore after this.

Definitely one of my fav restaurants of all time. The service is usually quick and ready within 15 mins on a good day. My wait usually ends up a little longer since I order for a few people at a time. Amazing food and very nice family business. They have a handful of hibachi entrées and sushi along with multiple appetizer options. Bonus-they sell large dip containers full of yum yum sauce 😋 Check it out if you haven't!

I hadn't been to Osaka since I was living in Lynchburg for college 18 years ago. At the time, it was one of my favorite places. I was afraid that after traveling the world and eating at 100s of delicious Japanese/hibachi restaurants, I would come back and be disappointed. But I was not. I STILL LOVE THIS PLACE ? The food is delicious and the prices are so reasonable. It was certainly great to be back and great to see that not much has changed ?

Food is excellent and reasonably priced! A gem in the Fort Hill neighborhood.
Food is good. Steak and fillet are tasty and satisfying meals. And don't forget the sushi. Been eating there for over 10 years.
