I ordered the vegetarian pho with beef broth and requested fried tofu for my protein. The server pointed out the tofu on the menu and it was FIVE DOLLARS EXTRA. Which is weird because they had other phos with protein already in them that weren't that expensive.🤔
The portion size of the soup was great, and also the tofu. But the tofu was actually BREADED, which...no...
The pho tasted fine but did not have that pho taste. Definitely no star anise (or not enough).
I probably won't go back. Surely there's got to be some authentic pho somewhere??

The prices are great, portion sizes are huge, quality is exceptional, people are wonderful, restaurant is clean and charming, and the food is really authentic.

Not sure why this has such high ratings. Pretty run down (patchy seats, grimy high chairs, sketchy bathrooms) and food is very hit or miss. Out of 6 people in our party, three didn't like part or all of their meal. They don't appear to have or know what's on their specials board at the entrance and couldn't say what comes with meals. Many meals appear to be just protein and bland rice, no veggies.

I ordered through doordash and they had my Dasher waiting for 10 minutes and my Dasher said they received the notification 10 minutes before they had finally brought my order out to them my thing is if the water is not ready then don't mark it as ready
