Everything was delicious! We had a variety of foods. I tried the pulled pork, brisket and chicken all three were great! I loved the brisket baked beans! My favorite dessert was the key lime pie absolutely fantastic! Our server was the best! I will definitely be back again and recommend this place to everyone I know. This restaurant is delicious. This wasn't my choice for a date night, but my husband suggested it & I'm so glad! I got a burger and he got some kind of a flatbread with brisket. They were both great. The highlight was the Texas Mud. I don't know how it's made. I bake a lot & I'm going to try to recreat it, but it'll be hard. Fun, casual place & delicious food!

We had a delicious dinner outside on the patio. Our sweet and efficient server Mackenzie did such a wonderful job! The brisket was delicious, and there was an amazing cinnamon sauce for dipping the sweet potato fries. Would definitely recommend!

Very good! I had the Pork plate and the Pulled pork was delicious. Their homemade barbecue sauces are fantastic! The Texas BBQ sauce was my favorite. The best sides they have have are their Mac n cheese, hush puppies, and fries! All homemade! Thank you for a great experience.
I am from out of town, but Pok-E-joes is a must visit whenever I am in Lynchburg, VA. Best brisket sandwich anywhere.

The service here was wonderful, very friendly and prompt. The food was pretty good although the brisket was very fatty, the chips advertised as hot fried chips were cold, and we didn't care for any of the BBQ sauces.
It has aged well. Some places stay the same and some get worse with time. The staff and owner do a fantastic job of helping this place get better. That is with it already being good before. So cheers.

Way overpriced for what you get. & they just informed me they now charge $1.50 for a 2 oz. Cup of bbq sauce. Like they don't even give you any with a meal you paid for ! And this is after I gave them a $2 tip on a To-go Order! Never again. We have been loyal customers here a long time, but if this is how greedy you are going to be & how you feel it's okay to treat people like this, we're done .
