Popped in to kill some time and order some beer and food from a great looking menu. Wife and I decided to split the nachos as an appetizer and fish tacos. Plenty sized portions on both. Food was good but I wouldn’t order the same things again. I think the wife liked it more than I did. Nacho chips were thick and hardy which is nice when you load up nachos, but be careful getting carried away with the chomp cause you can for sure do some mouth lacerations with these. I was not crazy about the beef but it wasn’t bad. I would consider it all fine. Good enough. The fish tacos were good, but again, nothing I would order again. I appreciate the big chunks of fried catfish and the crunchy lettuce. Big plus that they use fresh broccoli as a side selection. Daelyn was our server and was awesome. Each were about $15 each

First time dining here, very upscale atmosphere, clean and professional employees. Menu is incredible! I actually got a little overwhelmed by so many choices. I had fish tacos with delicious toppings and fries. Fries were very tasty. Guacamole on the tacos added that extra for me yum! We ordered steak with sweet potato and apples. Our food arrived in a timely manner. Also had a margarita absolutely delicious. It was an excellent dining experience. We will definitely be back. Thanks Shakers

My husband and I went to Shakers in Lynchburg today for lunch for the very first time, and it will absolutely NOT be the last!!
We were greeted quickly and seated promptly. The restaurant was filling up quickly during the lunch hour, so we were thrilled we didn’t have to wait. Although looking back, we would happily wait for a table to eat there!

We had an incredible server named Izzy and my husband and I discussed that she may be the very best server we have ever experienced in Lynchburg. Because it was our first time dining there we had several questions about specific dishes, asked her opinion on what the most popular items were and what her personal favorites were and we had the most pleasant conversation with her. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and described the dishes perfectly. The service she provided us was flawless.

My husband and I shared the spinach dip appetizer which was fantastic!
For our main course, my husband had the Cajun chicken pasta that came with garlic bread, and I had the catfish platter with french fries, and coleslaw. The food was not only absolutely delicious, the portion sizes were huge. We took some of every item home with us to have again for dinner! The salt and pepper catfish was the best I have ever had! I’m very picky about the coleslaw and it was fresh and absolutely incredible. My husband raved about his Cajun chicken pasta!

The atmosphere, and the food were excellent and we will definitely be coming back soon. And when we do return, we will certainly be requesting to be seated in Izzy’s section!
Overall experience was absolutely five stars!!

Dining experience was great! Only issue was they had a hard time controlling g the heat vent right above our table temps went cold then hot 7 or 8 times.

First time eating here and it was very disappointing. Our food for 4 out of 5 of us was cold, took over 40 minutes and we had 2 others bringing us refills.
The manager ended up comping all 5 meals due to the food all being cold. Everyone was hungry so they tried to eat the food so we wouldn't have to wait another 40 minutes. The waitress did not come back to check on us until we asked a different waitress to get the manager. He even removed the coffees and soda as he said there was no point to charge for those due to our unfortunate experience. I was shocked when I was told that adding a house salad as a side that it would be a $4 upcharge.
A gorgonzola salad, a hamburger meal, fried shrimp meal, honey glazed chicken breast and chicken cordon Bleu.

Waitresses carry 4 or 5 big platters of food in their arms. Incredible servers. First time visiting. With table of 8. It was enjoyable. Thx

Taylor was a great server. She was very kind and attentive. She helped with an allergy issue and I felt super confident in her ability to help.

Food was good. The only thing that any of the 10 of us didn’t like was the Cajun chicken pasta, otherwise we were happy with our meals.

There is a changing table in the women’s bathroom.

We love their Salt & Pepper Catfish. We live almost 2 hours away and only get to eat here once a year. We look forward to every time.
