About Slim Chickens

Slim Chickens offers a busy and lively atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. The food is consistently good, with some considering it the best chicken in the area. The Chicken Tenders are tremendous, and the fries are well cooked and seasoned to perfection. However, it is very inconsistent in many ways; sometimes the chicken is juicy and comparable to a place such as Cane's or Chick-fil-a, but other times the chicken feels as if it has just been sitting on the grill dry. Some things on the menu are tremendous, but even so inconsistent with the ingredients. Additionally, there are some menu items that aren't available. Sometimes ordering can be confusing, especially for non-students, but the menu navigation improves with familiarity. Despite some tidiness issues and inconsistency, the restaurant is good enough to eat in, and for a college campus experience, Slim Chickens is a solid choice for a hungry student.
