Steak 'n Shake

I don't know how this restaurant manages to stay as fresh looking, turn it really tasty burgers and milk shakes, deliver great service, all for a really inexpensive price. It seems nowadays that prices are soaring at all restaurants but not these guys!

At the time, under staffed. If not for that, 5 Stars. The rest of the staff made up for it in attitude. Great, clean place.

My girlfriend and I decided to go here last night and we are definitely never going again. Right from the beginning the place was absolutely filthy. No tables were clean and trash and food littered the floors. The guy that took our order messed it up several times and on top of that the manager and a team member were right next to him yelling at each other. We eventually sat down after having to clean a table off ourselves. About fifteen minutes later we were handed one of our two drinks. This and a milkshake were to be the only food we would get that night after waiting 45 minutes. It was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had, McDonald's would be disappointed. P.S. The manager smelled and looked like he had just smoked a blunt.

I'm pretty sure I got food poisoning from this place. I ate here when they first opened and the food was great. I got the cheesy melt burger. Today, I ordered the same thing. I was feeling fine before I started eating. About two hours later while at work, my stomach started hurting. Thankfully I made it home before throwing up and getting the runs. I've also heard terrible stories from a few people my husband knows that ate there. Also the drive through lady wasn't nice and she looked very overworked. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Have tried this particular location several times. Today will absolutely be my last. Let me start by saying I have been a server for 15 years so I am usually pretty patient and understanding but I have never seen such poor service. We were seated and no one asked about our drinks. Just walked away. We sat with 3 hungry children for 15 minutes which I would understand if they were busy but they were not. And we watched 2 servers and what I assume was 2 managers meander around waiting on at least 3 tables that came in after us. Completely disgusted I packed up my hungry children and headed down the road to Logan's. I will never walk into Steak N Shake again!
