Most of the staff is excellent with one exception who on two different occasions he has forgotten about my friends and I, or he has been just kind of ornery, or he has just gotten the order completely wrong.Definitely a nice little local pub to frequent, excellent food choices and typically not too crowded

It was a sketchy approach when I first walked in I won't lie. I arrived there with my three teen boys and went because of the menu and description online since it looked like a solid menu and it was a new try for us. We quickly realized there seemed to be a bar part with smoking and a nonsmoking restaurant area. We had showed up as the ONLY people who wanted to sit on the nonsmoking side (apparently the place is not known as a restaurant...who knew) lol but they were very accommodating and provided us an attentive wait staff for the entire time we ate and one of the best meals I have had the entire time I have lived here. Despite being the only table in the entire section I did not once feel like a burden. Needless to say I hope my return compliments to Chef (the food was ?) and my thank you to the wait staff showed my appreciation. In a world where it can be hard to connect with three teenagers. It was amazing to just have time to slow down, enjoy the food, enjoy an Amazing meal, spend time with my boys. We had a wonderful meal and I would definitely recommend the brisket, ribeye steak, cheese cake and people.

SHOWED UP AT 12:35 AND THE DOORMAN CHECKS MY ID AND THEN PROCEEDS TO TELL ME THE DOORS ARE CLOSED FOR THE NIGHT...A WHOLE HOUR EARLY AND AFTER CHECKING MY ID?...WHAT WAS THE POINT EVEN?? DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PLACE!!!

Fantastic smoked ribs and meats. Good atmosphere to have a little social fun. They have an open mic night. Sometimes they have a couple good comedians come through. The owner takes pride in how the establishment looks. This is a local business owner to support. Come out and visit Bert's big Deck and grab some damn tasty food. Ribs or Chicken wings for me!

The staff are great- very helpful and friendly! However, the atmosphere feels lacking and the drinks are surprisingly expensive (everywhere else in town beer is usually around $6 but here it is $9.50 for a stout pint). If you’re into dark bars and loud live music this will be your place (lots of others were enjoying it!) but if you’re looking to have a conversation with who you came with and a cool atmosphere the No. 7 or Cavalier is a better bet for a late Friday night. Just depends what your style and goals for a good night are, I suppose.

This place is not the best. Its definitely not for a family but yet more so a place to go for a round of drinks. We went for drinks and the bartender was great drinks were good. However I'll never eat here again. There were ants in my food the mozzarella sticks looks like mold but it was told to me they look like that because its artichoke added but it creeped me out I couldn't eat it and let not forget about the ants. Food not worth it at all but the drinks aren't bad and I truly think its the bar thats keeping this place alive and the other after hr activities

The staff including the bouncers, the bartenders are pleasant, no issues there, but where’s the energy? Where’s the excitement? My girl and I went here several times over the past few months just for drinks and it felt like the very end of your goofy cousins wedding reception, low to no lights in some sections of the place, sparse crowd and the only music was seemingly playing on someone’s iPhone in the back corner. With those issues mitigated, this place would undoubtedly thrive (it’s been empty every time we’ve been) and attract a much more lively energetic crowd. Also the prices of some of the drinks are much too expensive— we paid about $10 for 2 PBRs, way too much! With those prices we’d have to spend $1000 just to get a buzz. Let’s keep it real. We probably will not be going back for quite a while
