After years of living in Lynchburg I finally went to this place. They have sushi burritos. I only ever see those when I go on vacation. Also service is great and place is very clean!

Last week I purchased a salmon roll, a Tuna roll, and a yellow tail roll (which I appreciate them accommodating, as it’s not on the menu). I was excited about trying this place, however, my excitement was the height of the meal. If I could describe the sushi here in one word, flavorless. The fish was flavorless (frozen?) and the rice was grossly under seasoned as well. I reached to the soy sauce for help, but it drowned in the wateriness of its flavor. I never had watery soy sauce before. The pickled ginger and wasabi helped me get through it. After my meal, I was still hungry and dissatisfied. I may try this place again, because it was pretty empty in there, and maybe it was just an off day.

I wasn't in town for long, but when I discovered this place, I ate here as much as I could. Cozy little place with excellent food and service. Very clean.

I literally never leave a review, but $40 for 2 chicken entrees and 6 pieces of sushi that all tasted like garbage. Hibachi chicken was way too sweet and swimming in sauce; sesame chicken was again, wayy too sweet and had a pungent egg taste, and are in massive, hard to chew pieces, made me literally start gagging; and oyama sushi had little flavor, and what little flavor it had, left much to be desired. Insane the hype this place gets for overpriced hot garbage

I’ve visited Suzaku cafe twice. I was thrilled by the filet mignon/chicken lo Mein I got on my first visit. They did not skimp on the veggies, and the filet mignon was delicate.. very tender. Just delicious!! I was there again on Tuesday. Order 37 was me. Shrimp/filet mignon lo mein was my order. It was not nearly as good as my first meal..quite disappointing. I bit into some of the “filet mignon” and got an unpleasant surprise. Gristle.. lots of gristle. A few of the shrimp were cold. They barely included any vegetables either. I had asked for some veggies. Service stinks. There was a container of rice in the bag, I didn’t order the rice, thought they included it to be nice and let me try their rice. The lady rudely took my bag back from me and removed the rice, leaving a container of Yum Yum Sauce in the bag. Bit of a bummer. Probably won’t return

I used to be a huge fan of the food here, but it's disheartening to see the decline in quality over the past two years. The poke bowls have significantly decreased in size, seemingly to offset the cost of reducing the more expensive ingredients like protein, resulting in an imbalance with more rice. Additionally, the boba tea cups are now smaller than before, and the flavor is overwhelmingly milky rather than the original taste. I genuinely hope for improvements because otherwise, the risk of losing many loyal customers is high.

Was very disappointed with what I brought home from this restaurant. The food just did not taste well and the meat seemed like it was undercooked.

My favorite sushi place in Lynchburg. The wontons lack flavor, but use some duck sauce and you’ll be all set. Overall, I love this
