Great brunch spot, bit of a wait for the food but was well worth it (especially the pancakes).

Great prices on the senior specials. My food was hot but my wife's was cold. They were down 1 cook which made for a very long wait.

I was really excited to visit this charming, quaint spot after winning a Mother’s Day brunch here. The atmosphere is cozy, and was super cute! Unfortunately, the breakfast didn’t quite live up to expectations in terms of flavor, and the service felt a bit lacking. I had the eggs Benedict. After we finished our meal, no one came back to check on us, so we weren’t sure when or how to leave. I also noticed some cleanliness issues, like dust and dead bugs on the windowsill, which took away from the overall experience. That said, I think with a bit more attention to detail, this place could be great. I think it would be really cool to have a print out of the history of acorn hill at the tables because I’d love to know more about the history! Still, I’m grateful for the chance to experience it!

I took my wife and two daughters here for Mother’s Day brunch and had to ask for drinks and a menu after being seated for 30 minutes. I had to ask if we could place our orders after waiting for 50 minutes, due to no one serving us. I was given the wrong type of toast and my wife was given pancakes instead of French toast. In summary, I had to advocate for my family to be served food that I paid for. If you like to serve yourself and wait two hours for brunch, this is your spot.

Come here for a great brunch if you have a lazy morning and need something fun to do. Food is phenomenal, just sit and enjoy it all. Don't come here if you're in a rush, just plan out a long brunch and enjoy your time. Great mimosas and fun atmosphere, perfect for a Christmas week brunch

Had the best banana and carmel pancake this week. It was a special and my friends and I loved it. Had the such good fellowship and breakfast in that quiet and beautiful place. Thanks to all there for a great morning. I highly recommend Acorn Hill lodge to visitors and the bistro to local Lynchburg. Please visit, you will love it. *****

We loved our brunch here! Warm reception by the staff and tastefully decorated space.
The food was amazing! Fresh ingredients excellently prepared!!!! The server could have been a bit more attentive that's the only thing with a little room for improvement. This was our first time here but will not be the last!

We went to Acorn Hill Bistro today. We were greatly disappointed. We had a reservation for four. The hostess told us she had to clear a table while there were several tables that were empty. After more than 15 minutes we had to remind her that we were still waiting for our table. We had to give her our names again and she said oh your table is over there. While we were waiting to be seated she sat a table of 8. After waiting for at least another 15 minutes I had to go ask for menus. We only got 3 menus for the four of us. It was at least 30 minutes after that we finally saw a waitress. Once we finally put in our drink order we waiting another 15 minutes. Our waitress was so inattentive that we had to wait to flag someone down so that we could get straws for our drinks. When our food finally came, only half of the table was served. The rest of the food sat in the serving window. We had to ask for the one side that was never served. The food was mediocre. The eggs Benedict were good. However the potatoes were not cooked enough and were so hard they were not edible. Our waitress never returned to our table except to bring the bill. She had a bit of an attitude with us and just didn’t seem to care a bit. Definitely did not deserve a tip. The table of eight that was seated before us after 1 1/2 hours still hadn’t gotten their food. For a Mother’s Day brunch they severely let us down. Worst service I have ever experienced. Needless to say we will not eat there again. Such a disappointment!
