Read the cancellation policy before booking. I cancelled almost a month ahead of the stay. To refund none of the 600.00 is not right for a trip cancelled on Jan 30 for Feb 23. Will not give them the opportunity to do that again. Read the fine print.
Hotel was super helpful with helping our team secure enough rooms for our families. Very clean, easy parking and access to stores, and great lobby area where our team could have the guys eat a late dinner one night. Front desk and housekeeping were super friendly. I appreciated having access to a printer to print some last minute things we needed.
My wife and I spent two days this Courtyard Hotel. Everything was what is expected of this type of hotel. One person in particular, I think her name was Arlene, provided outstanding service late one morning by helping me get food for my spouse. The cafe had closed.
We came to this hotel after having to leave an atrocious hotel down the street. The young lady staffing that night was so helpful and took care of us from the moment we connected on the phone. The room was extremely clean as was the rest of the hotel.
I was in Lynchburg for a family function this past weekend and stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott. Very convenient off 29 and within a short drive to Liberty, Univ. of Lynchburg, & downtown Lynchburg. The hotel staff was very nice and I was always greeted with a smile. The lobby had the most comfortable chairs, couches, and plenty of room to spread out. The lobby and rooms were decorated with a modern touch. Again, plenty of space for bags, seating, and accommodating to my 6’0 tall stature. The bed was comfortable, but firm. I am not a firm mattress type of person. The pillows were fluffy and I’d suggest bringing your own if you like something different. The room and bathroom was very clean and there was no shortage of service when I needed extra towels. The reason I rated the hotel a 4 instead of 5 is due to its pricing. Understanding we have inflation, I thought it was ridiculous that breakfast and dinner was $20 a person. I am used to overpaying for everything in Northern VA and the food was just way overpriced. That is with a tip as you are served by staff after ordering at the counter. Breakfast was good, but not worth the money. As someone who is a bit of a hotel snob, I’d stay at this hotel again. It was a very comfortable stay.
We stayed here one night. The property is conveniently located. The room was comfortable, but not fancy—with necessary amenities. There was an exercise/fitness room. Food was available for breakfast (for purchase). I recommend this property.
The atmosphere and service is amazing but the food was bland
Disappointing. I stayed here for three nights because of work in the area. I am a regular traveler to this area and this hotel is preferred by my company. I have avoided it as much as I could because it is mediocre at best. The room is not quiet, I heard people all around me watching TV, talking, shutting doors, etc. I requested housekeeping service if possible on day three, and coffee supplies as I was out since they supply you with two decaf and two regular coffees for the machine. I was told via the app that housekeeping would get to me if they could, which they did not. I would’ve been fine with just having coffee provided. Thankfully I don’t have to stay here again for at least the next 6 weeks. It’s just mediocre.
Recently stayed at this hotel, it looked nice and the front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was labeled a "mobility assistance room with a tub, " but was not up to the ADA guidelines. As you can see by the photos, the toilet stool was short and not up to ADA height (size 11 sandle for reference.) The sink did not allow wheelchair leg clearance and could not be used. The bathtub was so slick that the shower chair slipped and crashed into the wall during transfer. Inside edge of the seat chair was demolished. We were very fortunate that no one was hurt during our stay. If you are in a wheelchair, be careful at your stay at this hotel. ADA rooms should be more than a few grab bars.

As an elite Bonvoy member, I expect to be greeted as such and given an option for a gift as is Bonvoy policy. Neither occurred. Room 202 has issues. The furniture is too big for the room and there was either blood or chocolate stains on the sofa. There are fruit flies (some dead, others not) in the sink that didn’t readily drain. The toilet only flushes properly if you hold the handle down. The shower door is also misfit in the frame and there is a frayed gap in a former of the shower stall. What made me write this review was that my room wasn’t made up (bed, wet towels removed, etc.). I understand that three employees left their employment on the same day. That’s why there was no bistro service the first night. This is a sad state of affairs.
The room is decent and clean but you can't use the internet and NO ONE CAN HELP YOU Of course they've only got one clerk on even though it's Saturday night. Please tell me how only having one person trying to help everyone helps with covid??? It's not even safe. He's off trying to help people with keys, pillows, God knows what. And sure you can easily get a phone to connect but it can't reach a dns server to resolve the login page on a laptop even with all firewalls off which isn't what you want to do on a public network. Ridiculous
We stayed here one night. The rooms are very large. There is a large shower equipped with shampoo etc. The staff is very friendly. Checkin was easy. Parking was convenient too. This is a beautiful area. We were close to downtown too.
Beautifully designed and decorated--both our room and the common areas. Doesn't look institutional. Property is a block away from the main highway which makes it easily accessible, but also quiet. Front desk clerks were very friendly, helpful and kind. Our room thermostat went a bit rogue; it was difficult to control. However, everything else about our room was very comfortable and we slept well. Only disappointment--physical fitness room was closed (presumably due to COVID) and the "Bistro" bar/snack/lounge area was also closed (front desk clerk said due to "not enough business"). I do understand that the management has to make decisions which will enable the hotel to be profitable. I don't fault them for that. Nonetheless, those decisions resulted in our inability to fully enjoy this lovely place. Hopefully, others who stay here in the future will get a more complete experience. One last caveat--this property has no swimming pool or jacuzzi, if that matters to you.
