Delicious meal for Restaurant Week, onion rings and mashed potatoes were very good, desert, chocolate cake is the best. Better if you sit upstairs, sometimes dishes a little cold by the time delivered downstairs. Waitress was very good. Slightly understaffed, needed a little more housekeeping.

Having spent some time in Aberdeenshire and searching for an equal for years here in the states, I can say that The Dahlia has the best fish and chips this side of the Atlantic! Perfectly battered and moist, not greasey, on the inside. The chips were crisp on the inside and warm and fluffy on the inside. Absolutely phenomenal!!!
Billy, the bartender was a consumate professional. Everything measured and properly tasted before it left the bar. We don't visit Lynchburg often, but the next time we come through, we will be back! Thank you and your team for one of the best meals I have had in a long while.

Absolutely loved everything. The New York Whiskey sour might have been the most delicious cocktail of my life. I am remiss not remembering our server's name, but they were so helpful and friendly.

I had the shrimp answer grits, my baby had the salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli, and my daughter had the fish tacos with fries . Our server was amazing, and even the other staff members were super friendly. Great experience overall 👍

My husband and I stopped in for dinner a few weeks ago and had a delicious meal! We sat at the bar because it was packed and ordered some beers, an appetizer, and entrees. Billy was our bartender AND server and he did a fantastic job, especially considering the amount of patrons that were there for a Thursday night. We will definitely be back soon :)

Love this restaurant. Food was delicious. We've been many times and this was the only time I wouldn't rate things an 5. Just off night perhaps. Always look forward to the desserts. Unfortunately they were out of bread pudding for the second time. We chose to go with the raspberry cake with lemon icing. It wasn't until we were home did I realize we paid a whopping $11 bucks for the cake slice. Was it good, sure it was tasty, but definitely not worth $11. How is that even justified in their minds.
All around great experience. Bar tender was kind and the food was delicious. My fiancé and I thought the downstairs was so cozy and delightful. Best fish and chips in Lynchburg hands down. Definitely coming back to sit at the bar when dry January is over lol.
Update I went back for desert the next day and the chocolate cake and the spice cake are outstanding.

The place was great. The service was exceptional. The Calamari was fantastic. The Tacos were cold. I mean we serve these cold on purpose cold. That's fine but I wouldn't have ordered them if I knew they were served cold. I had no reason to believe they would be. I wish this was made more obvious to me by the menu. That's my only complaint.
