The menu is limited...the price is high...the service is untrained and unmotivated...reservations are never needed because there are always empty tables...location and parking are great!

Came for a quick date night and enjoyed the experience. The ambiance is beautiful and our server was super sweet. We ordered an appetizer and entrees and still had room for dessert. The dishes are simplistic, small portioned, and clean. The homemade focaccia was the highlight. Love the cocktail menu design.

This is place has an elegant feel to it. The staff is pleasant and appear to be well-trained. The menu is simple in appearance, yet big on surprises! We started with warm bread and fresh, soft butter. My daughter requested an apple martini, but they did not have the ingredients to make it. So, the bartender created a pear martini that she loved. I tried their "no-garita" zero proof mocktail, it was a great tasting spicy drink topped with jalapeños. Next, we had the Warm Whipped Feta and Roasted Brussel Sprouts. They were both perfectly created. For our main dishes, we ordered the CONFIT DUCK LEG and Scratch Pasta. Both we amazing' The pasta is constructed simply with cream, mushrooms and swiss chard. Truss is a breath of fresh air in the food department! I've been craving something different and unique lately and this meal was exactly what I've been looking for. Highly recommend Truss!

Truss was a very fine place to dine at on a Friday night. We are trying all new restaurants and it’s been a joy! Our waiter took really good care of us and he knew his stuff concerning the wine and some of the products that we were inquiring about. We all ordered different items and it was “eh ok”. So I had the Pasta dish and it had no taste at all to me neither did the steak. My lady ordered the chicken entree and seemed to really enjoy that! THE BRUSSELS SPROUTS WERE TO DIE FOR!!! Omg!!! Please send over that receipe! Overall the experience alone was great! Very upscale!Parking: He has a huge lot to part in!Wheelchair accessibility: It’s all one level and the handicap parking is right in front of the building!

Food is good, staff is friendly, atmosphere is decent.Reservation for 4. Seated immediately at 5:52. A server did not come to our table. Servers and host walked by several times but not check on us. I asked for a server at 6:02 at the host desk. Our server came at 6:05. She seemed very new and was apologetic. The service between drinks/dishes was a little too slow to have a put together meal. The food was good, portions were good. Not enough for left overs, but enough for a single meal. It was just a lot of waiting to order food or drinks. We ordered dessert and coffee, but the coffee didn’t come out. That’s fine, dessert was good.I don’t think I’ll add Truss to my favorite LYH restaurant list. But it is a nice place to go every once in a while.

When you step into Truss, you immediately do not feel like you are in Lynchburg. I've been here many times, in many environments (we rented the private room for our business thank you dinner). The service is excellent, the food is different, and the place gives off a different atmosphere than unlike anything in Lynchburg. Most impressive thing to me though? I had an issue one time, and the owners themselves reached out to make it right.That. Doesn't. Happen.People that go the extra mile always win in my book. I'd rate them 100/10 stars if I could simply for that fact. Thank you, Truss.

A group of us went to a weekend brunch to Truss. The atmosphere is classy. Our group was a mix of standard omnivores, pescatarians, and vegetarians. The omnivores and pescatarians had plenty to chose from and seemed content. As vegetarians, a couple of my friends and I struggled; you will struggle more if you don't eat eggs or are vegan.I had a Black Bean Tostada, which was really small (since I had them without the eggs). We still had to pay the whole price even though we asked them to remove eggs.We also had an option of ordering a burger, but the burger offered was the Impossible Burger. A lot of meat eaters don't get this - many vegetarians are vegetarians because they don't like the texture, smell, and taste of meat. Impossible Burger is made for people who like meat but are trying to give up. I like the old days prior to "vegan meats" or "synthetic meats" where people took the time to make good vegetarian friendly burgers like bean burgers, mushroom burgers, garden burgers, etc. But most restaurants now press the easy button and get Impossible Burger, Truss included.Truss - we vegetarians love to come back - please show us some love and have more vegetarian, egg free, vegan options. Soups can be easily made vegetarian by replacing chicken/beef broth with vegetarian broths, as well as pastas and salads. We would love to go again, give us a sign.Vegetarian options: - Please be deliberate about having a vegetarian menu- Try to offer a bean burger or garden burger rather than impossible burger.- Soups can be easily made vegetarian by skipping chicken or animal brothDietary restrictions: Scanty options for vegans or vegetarians.

we stopped in to have brunch today and it was excellent, once again! the food was incredible and the drinks were delicious. but what made this experience even better was the waitress next to us catering to a sweet blind lady, each item she ordered, the waitress would place in front of her and tell her where everything was so her dining experience would be just as great as everyone else’s.keep up the impeccable work, can’t wait to join you for dinner next time!ps: if you’re considering the lemon ricotta pancakes, they’re so delicious i’m pretty sure i blacked out eating them!!! ?
