Very poor service. I was excited to try this place but will likely never go back. We (me and one other person) went at noon on a Monday, and were the only customers when we arrived. Only a handful of other customers came in while we were there. Our server was not friendly, and never came back to our table after we ordered until we had been done eating for some time to give us our check. Our drinks were never refilled, my water was empty for over an hour. We had to ask for silverware after our food was brought to us and no one brought any. My friend placed a to go order and asked for “a lot of limes” to go with it. When it was brought there were no limes so she said “can I please get a lot of limes, at least 5 slices”. The server brought back a cup of 2 lime slices and walked away. My friend had to get up and go ask for more limes which they then charged her for. I’m totally fine with paying for extra limes if that’s policy, but why wouldn’t they have said something when she originally asked for the limes? Overall weird/unwelcoming atmosphere. Food was decent but not filling. I am typically super understanding of food service workers and am pretty patient but this was ridiculous.

Loved this place! Four of us went to dinner, each getting something entirely different from the menu and we all cleaned our plates. The decor and music were fun, the drinks were all amazing, and the salsas and guacamole were delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive. Lynchburg is lucky to have an option that is a little extra special from the norm - I would encourage anyone visiting or longtime residents to try Uno Mas.

If you don't know the difference between Tex-Mex and REAL Mexican dishes, then take a trip to Uno Mas. Authentic Mexican food from all parts of this vast country full of flavor. I love the molé enchiladas pictured here... the food is FLAVORFUL not over seasoned or over spiced. No free chips, but the prices are very good. Bring a friend to share.

It’s a sad day when you go to a Mexican restaurant save you have to order chips and salsa only to not receive your salsa, and when you finally do after asking, you are brought tomato sauce for salsa, order margaritas and the way are tiny. Horrible experience. Once we finally got the tomato sauce for salsa, that was enough. Told them to cancel our food order and that we’d pay for what we had but were not happy and leaving to find another real Mexican restaurant. Wouldn’t let us cancel food orders and charged for the whole meal after saying he’d take the chips and salsa off. Didn’t care… just wanted to leave and find some good Mexican food. Left and paid in full…. $85 for 3 tiny margaritas, 2-$11 fajita meals, and one chicken quesadilla plus whatever they charge for chips and salsa. If they can live with it, I can live without it. Currently sitting at another Mexican restaurant enjoying chips and real salsa and good sized margaritas. Lesson learned. Hopefully others will not make the same mistake.

Worst Mexican Restaurant I’ve ever been to! I’ve never been to a restaurant and have to order the chips and salsa. The salsa came after 30 minutes of being ordered. It was literally a can of tomato sauce. No flavor whatsoever! Very disappointed! The margarita had 0 alcohol! And there is only one size. The manager would not take anything off the bill. We ask for the check before we got our meal because of the horrible experience. $85 for 3 $10 meals and 3 margaritas is absolutely insane! The manager would not take anything off the bill even though we didn’t eat the salsa and chips. Nor did he compensate us for the food that we didn’t get. Please don’t waste your time or money there.

Outstanding food in a great spot downtown. Having lived in San Diego for years, we can attest that this is legit Mexican cuisine. I used to love going to the Starlight Café in this location, and so happy to see a new great restaurant take its place.

So good and prices are amazing. McDonald's is more expensive, and this food is genuine and authentic. I'm in town for a month and already went back 2 more times.

We love Uno Mas! Ashton and Zach are the best bartenders. Tati is a great server. This is one of the few Mexican places in LYH that actually feels close to home style cooking and you literally cannot beat the price. And the margaritas are fire 🔥
