Visited Val's for the first time today to grab a bite to eat before seeing a movie. Everyone there was SUPER friendly and welcoming. They were patient as we figured things out and my family enjoyed our meal! We had some fried chicken, mac and cheese, sweet potato pudding, and collard greens. All delicious. We will definitely visit Val's again!

My family and I tried Val's today for the first time. It was out of this world. Great homemade meals and plenty of it in your meal. The largest sides I have ever gotten anywhere. This is a hidden gem if anyone doesn't know about it, you should definitely follow the facebook page. We got dessert to but can't imagine eating that right now, but I know it is going to be great. Val's just got a household of new customers.
Home cooked food served with love. The owner works hard to take care of her customers. She does not hide in back, she is front and center waiting to serve her all of her customers.

If you are looking for a good homemade and hearty meal, this is the place for you! This restaurant is in a corner of a shopping center. The first thing you will notice is the personable Southern hospitality. There is a buffet looking line for you to pick your meal from. You see what you get so there is no guessing what you may get. The meats are very flavorful and delicious. The veggies are great complements to the meats. Very glad we stopped by.

We were traveling through & googled this restaurant. First, we were graciously greeted by the owner Val. The customer service was top notch and Val made you feel appreciated for selecting her restaurant. The food was truly comforting and delicious. Val shared that her meatloaf was the favorite and she served it daily. I ordered a meatloaf dinner to go for my husband. He took it in his lunch the next day, and he is still talking about that being the best meatloaf he has ever eaten. May God continue to enlarge her territory and bless her and her business.

My fiance had the meat loaf and said it was amazing and they have the best stewed tomatoes.I had the beef tips and mashed potatoes. In my opinion the food is under seasoned. The sweet tea wasn't sweet. It reminds me of hospital food edible and nutritional but not very flavorful. Everyone was really nice the restaurant was super clean.
