I hate this store's management. This store's managers are just like the rest of the company selfish, self centered penny pinching pieces of trash. If you wanna look it up but ever since April 5, 1992 (the date Sam Walton, founder of WALMART, passed away) (April 5 2022 would make it 30 years) the entire company has treated their employees like they're disposable. I worked there for only 5 months and have no intention whatsoever to go back there to do any but shop. The managers have done absolutely NOTHING to show that they appreciate anything that I did. And I have just 1 last thing to add: Jessica Vickie and Meghan I HOPE YOU BITCHES BURN IN HELL YOU PIECES OF TRASH. I DON'T WANNA HEAR YOU ASK ME WHAT I'M DOING THERE BECAUSE I'LL SAY "NONE OF YOUR GODDAMN BUSINESS".

Shelves were missing a lot and of course never many cashier's. Irks me because I refuse to go thru self checkout! I don't work for Walmart. It's bad enough that you have to lug them onto the conveyor belt...lug the filled bags back into your cart cause they damn sure don't do it for ya! Then lug them to the car, into the car then into your house. And want me to self check which adds lugging them in and out...up and down...2 more times! Umm...No! They lack a lot in customer service!

Unfortunately, my experience is the staff is not always helpful or friendly. While there are those who do a really nice job, the majority of unhappy, bad attitudes stand out. Walmart seems to have a corporate policy NOT to hear from customers, leaving only the store management to speak with, and then the only person available to speak with you is a shift manager. K-Mart had a similar policy and we all know where they went. Walmart could learn from Amazon, who has an EXCELLENT policy listening and taking action. Typically, my experience is the staff represents the management team, who seem to be absent on the floor. On a more positive note, good value is offered and many of the Great Value brands are of good quality when compared to the more known brands.

Nice find! With a gas station attached. Looking for a more quaint Walmart shopping experience but still get your necessities try this location.

Very clean, all foods, okay very here and there kitchen needs. I must be honest .... I like to get what else I need and not two stops to get my cross stitch thread though Walmart is horrible at offering things for fabrics, thread, or much of anything for crafters! There, my honest thoughts!

Joann in the pick up area is top of the line as are all who work in that area. Polite, helpful, prompt, and knowledgeable. I cannot express how grateful I am for this service. Thank you so much. Kuddos !!!

Came in today 2/22/21, and store looked good, and we got everything we were looking for. We had Sue check us out and she was very friendly and nice. She also packed our items very neatly. So, give Sue a big thanks from my wife and I. She checked us out around 3pm.

Overall it's a Walmart but my biggest gripe is the produce department. Half the time I come in, there is half rotten produce on the shelves. The salad is usually wilted, the fruit has mold on it and there are always empty bins. Wish they could improve that because if they did, that would be one of the best stores in Lynchburg. Considering it has market in the name I just hoped it would have focused on the fresh stuff more.

A nice grocery store with pretty good fresh foods. The have some of the better meats I've have found at a Walmart too. Imy only complaint is even with alot of self check outs the always seem to be full and it takes awhile to check out

I usually always go here for groceries but there's a new person working there it first started by then coming in my personal space while trying to do self checkout. Whenever I come in they always stare at me like I've done something wrong. It's to the point where I just go at night because it's the only time I feel comfortable going. The store itself is ok, but if you go at the wrong time they won't have a lot of food.

went in looking for allergy medicine and talked to Teresa Ng-Rph in the pharmacy dept about ordering some medicine - she said she would check on ordering it and I thought yea right- that's what everybody says-- but about 3 weeks later she called and left message on phone- I was shocked- the medicine came in- she did exactly what she said she was going to do. Thank you Teresa for your help and now I am moving all of my medicine from CVS to walmart- where I feel I can trust this lady. Have a great day and thanks Walmart for Teresa.

Love the concept - hate that there's not curbside and the meat department is anything but to be desired. Please don't be in a hurry at the deli counter, which lacks in quality anything and don't expect friendly service there either. I've never seen or experienced an employee that seemed like they wanted to help anyone back there.

This is a great little Walmart. If you need to do some grocery shopping and need to pick up some other Essentials, this is the place to go. It's in a great location to. Plus they have the gas pumps so you can kill two birds with one stone here. Everything in here is laid out pretty much the same as the other Walmart marketplaces, so it's really easy to find the stuff you're looking for.
