Washbasins staff quickly accommodated us for a birthday. This was good hibachi. The prices were great and chef was hilarious!

I have always enjoyed wasabi as they have multiple locations and provide the same experience at each of their locations. Great atmosphere! Sushi is very good and they also offer gluten-free.

Perfect environment for a birthday party. Definitely bring kids because their expressions make it so much fun! Also prepare for GIANT servings of food. My teenage son and I split the steak & chicken hibachi and took home TONS of leftovers. Service was great. So entertaining!

Food was nice and fresh, the service was friendly and prompt, and the decor is fun. The entire location is surprisingly large, it would be a great spot for a birthday party or the like.

The teppanyaki experience was pretty nice, even though the grill was having some issues and took a long time to heat up. The chicken was a little dry, but the steak, shrimp, and fried rice were delicious.

We have been coming here for years and this used to be our favorite hibachi restaurant but unfortunately this place has started to take a turn for the worse. The service and quality of the food has gone way down hill. The staff fails to bring your orders or drinks to the table which caused us to go to the bar ourselves and get our own drinks. This always leads to some confusion with the check and getting items removed. The quality of food has gone down hill as well. This used to be the only place that completely cooked their rice, well that is not the case now. Our last visit I couldn't even eat the rice due to the uncooked pieces. Overall we had a pretty bad dining experience and this was my last visit here until some changes are made.

Food is good- just really expensive. It's better than a lot of other places but not, "I want to spend 7 bucks more to have this specific place," better. Always kind staff. I've only done regular

A typical hibachi restaurant without anything significant to make it stand out.

My best friend talked me into trying some sushi for the first time. We decided to try Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse here in Lynchburg Virginia. The place is very nicely decorated. The staff members are very friendly, the atmosphere is great and the food is excellent. The men's restroom is very clean but the toilet paper is a little on the rough side. Overall this was a great experience and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for some great Japanese food. I will definitely be back.

Went and got food, waitress was very nice food was decent. But when it was time to pay they let us know that their card machine was not working. It happens no big deal, we were willing to wait a little for it to come back up but after 20 minutes we requested that we just leave our contact info and pay later. The manager rejected this and lectured us on why we should bring cash with us. We asked for a discount since we were not aware that we would be forced into this situation, the manager said it wasn't her fault so she wouldn't give us a discount (This is 2 hours into our wait). The manager's demeanor with us was highly unprofessional, constantly making snide comments about how we should have been prepared for their machine to be down, whilst not providing any insight on a reasonable solution. The only offer we got was to send one member of our party to pick up money from an ATM, which comes with a fee that they felt was not their problem. On top of not being a discount we were charged a service fee of 20% because we had a party of six, we called ahead for our meal and were not informed over the phone that this would be the case. Would not be so upset about it if the service (from the manager) was any better than the worst I've ever experienced. We end up waiting 2 and a half hours for the machine to come back up, given no discount and there is zero chance any member of my party will ever return to this restaurant. My only hope is that the owner or general manager sees this and straightens out his/her sub-managers to be more competent and courteous.
