Grilled tuna was over cooked and returned. Kitchen at fought. Waiter did a great job. Learned that gratuities are split - yhereby not giving every waiter the incentives needed. Needs to change.
We were celebrating our 40th anniversary! Our overall experience was amazing. The food was great! Our waitress was great! The one thing that was not ideal was the couch. People came and sat there while waiting to be seated. It was a little distracting since we were sitting at the table near the window. I would recommend putting it out in the lobby. Aside from that, everything was awesome! Thanks for making this a memorable evening.
My ribeye steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked to order. The bar is always a wonderful place to start a fun evening. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Food and service are outstanding. If you're looking for an upscale dining experience I highly recommend stopping here.
The food, service and atmosphere are 5 stars. We'll worth every penny. Our server Stephanie was excellent and our experience there very enjoyable. Edit.. After reflecting on our dinner at William and Henry, I must say, having six plus decades of dining experience both in the US and in Europe, our time here was the most memorable. The food was exceptional, but it was the staff that really made the evening most enjoyable.

My sister and I dined at William & Henry Steakhouse on August 7, 2025. The food and service were exemplary! We shared the crab cake appetizer, French onion soup, Chilean Sea Bass, and potato wedges with parmesan and truffle oil. We ended our dinner with the Coconut Cow Cake (to die for) and Key Lime pie. Each dish was better than the last. Kudos to the chef!! Not to be outmatched, the service was 5-star as well. Sadie and her crew made sure everything ran smoothly and created a warm inviting atmosphere from beginning to end. Thank you all for such a divine experience.

The service was outstanding, the food and wine were exceptional and the atmosphere was comforting. Best place for dinner in the State of Virginia.
Beautiful, glorious food. If the chef can change your mind about a food group, that's an excellent cook. I don't like seafood but I really loved the tuna appetizer!
The service was superb. We were visiting for our 12th anniversary, and the servers gave us complementary champagne and dessert!
The brussel sprouts were the piece de for me. My husband was delighted with the fish special.

The food here is amazing! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They easily answered all my questions about vegan options and everything was delicious! I appreciate restaurants that allow all types of dietary needs to enjoy a meal together. I would love to see a vegan protein added to the options (perhaps a quinoa?), but the options provided were very well prepared!

Overall a fabulous dinner. The steak and lobster were perfectly cooked. The salad was robust and delicious. Service was wonderful with one minor exception, the bread did not come to the table until after the main course. There was an issue with the Creme Brûlée. Both had to be sent back as the sugar top was not caramelized at all, the very definition of brûlée. The server seemed put off by this as did the chef behind the line. When it came back, still barely caramelized but we accepted. It should have been returned again, the creme was not not set, it was liquidly. The flavor was good but at the prices charged it should be perfection. I would still recommend but not for Creme Brûlée.
The food was outstanding as well as the service. William & Henry never disappoints. Roger the long time chef is retiring next week which was disappointing but certainly deserved after all the many years he has taken care of the customers. He sent over one of his delicious appetizers (our anniversary) and then stopped by to give us the retirement news. He has certainly been a huge asset to his profession and more importantly a great asset to the company. He will be missed greatly. Thank you for all your hard work.
Thank you, Sadie, Joyce, Noel, Roger, and the team. Congratulations, Roger, on your retirement, we are so happy we were able to come in and experience your cuisine and hospitality one last time!!
The food and service was excellent. However, the manager, in my opinion, was rude and arrogant so unfortunately cannot recommend.
I was in Lynchburg from OhiO visiting family and made a reservation for some quality time together where we could talk and enjoy a nice dinner. The service and food were excellent as expected. Made for great memories for sure.
