Took the family here for homecoming. The two guys running the place had a massive attitude. One was was lethargically making a pepperoni pizza, even though there already was one out. The other didn't show up to serve customers until 5 minutes had passed. There were also only 3 burnt pizzas available. I'm not planning on going back or recommending this place. Obviously, the place was a little dirty because of the lack of work ethic the employees had.

We hired Joe's pizza van for our evening food for our wedding and it was amazing! My husband and I are quite picky with our pizza but this pizza is such good quality pizza! It tasted amazinggggg and even non-pizza lovers loved the pizza so much. It was incredibly tasty and we're so so glad we booked with yourselves. The service was incredible too, thank you so much!

We booked the Wood Fired Pizza co for our wedding reception as we wanted something with a relaxed feel that everyone would enjoy. We specifically chose the Wood Fired Pizza co as they cater for gluten free and vegan as well as other dietary requirements. Their service was impeccable and the pizza tasted incredible. They were efficient in set up and take down on the day and there was no long queues as guests were served very quickly. We would highly recommend to anyone considering and prices were very reasonable for the quality.

I was so looking forward to trying this place, I LOVE Sourdough pizza crust! However, we had it delivered, which may have been the ultimate mistake. I ordered on their website, only to find out DoorDash delivers it. Well, I could've saved myself probably 45 minutes by just ordering on DoorDash. You should take that feature off the website, completely. The order was supposed to be delivered at 5:48pm. I called at 6:08 because we hadn't received it yet. The lady that answered told me it was JUST PICKED UP and should be arriving. At 6:30, it finally arrives. The pizza was cold and obviously chewy at that point. Not to mention we both had GI upset within a couple hours. The entire experience was horrible, and the pizza was not good. I spent so much money and tipped the driver well, only to have such an awful experience and bad food.

The washroom of this establishment was exquisitely immaculate. I would rate it 6/5 stars if I was able. I walked in to the bathroom as a man and I left as a changed man. I would relate the feeling to being embraced from a woman after a long days work. From the granite floors to the spotless toilet. As much storage as the heart desires. It smelled like a meadow full of beautifully smelling flowers. This bathroom is so clean I would eat the pizza off of the floor if it were not socially unacceptable. I will be bringing my service back to this establishment again very very soon.

I would rate the Sourdough Pizza Company five stars regardless of the location. The pizza is absolutely top quality and the people making the pies clearly understand the art of pizza making. Having said that, since this is in Lynchburg, I would rate this at 8 to 9 stars overall if I could! It is by far the best pizza in this area. There is nothing that even comes close to the quality of pizza provided. It does not matter where you are located, as long as you are within driving distance, this should be your one and only place for getting a pizza in the Lynchburg area. You can tell from my pictures the quality of the pizza. There is no need to go into specifics other than to say the ingredients are top notch, and the individuals preparing my pizza closely monitored the cooking process to ensure the highest quality product. I do not think I have ever provided a review where the product stood out so much from its local competition. There is absolutely no other place in the Lynchburg area that provides pizzas of this quality. Go there and you will not be disappointed. Well done to the staff at the sourdough pizza company, fantastic product and service. Just a quick update, I only had one more day in Lynchburg and I had to go back and get another pizza. So I opted for a simple pepperoni and sausage pizza. Once again, everything that I stated in my review the day before holds true. Sourdough pizza company deserves every five star review they get and more. Well done to the team!

Today, however, doesn't seem to be the day to elaborate on any of this company's weaknesses as I cant seem to find any, so their strengths will be all you'll receive from me. Upon walking into any restaurant the first thing that catches my attention is the cleanliness, and this establishment immediately provided me with a sense of ease as everything seemed to be practically immaculate. It's not rocket science to figure out that a clean environment always gives the purchaser the perspective that the company cares about the health and well being of others and to know that it's often times associated with how the consumer might compare it to the sanitary conditions of the kitchen. I know I do, and to me that gave them their first win. Their second win was that their menu wasn't overly complicated and not only offered traditional style pizzeria options, it also offered a few takes of their own (which sound incredibly delicious and I can't wait to try!). Upon ordering, the staff were not only friendly, they were lighthearted and made the entire experience memorable, offering suggestions when asked of their most popularly requested menu items. We kept it traditional this visit and ordered a simple pepperoni pizza, and mildly put, sometimes simple is better. At first sight, I already knew my palate was about to be pleased. The wood-fired, brick-oven gave it that light, crisp crust with just enough dark spots to heighten the flavor and give it the right bite. The crust being a little on the thin side, which happens to be my favorite. Add in the fresh sauce, cheese and toppings and it was sheer perfection! And might I add that their prices are beyond reasonable and fair!! I have to say that I am new to the surrounding area and have been looking relentlessly to find a pizzeria worth eating from and have been beyond disappointed over the last 6 months up until now. Sourdough Pizza might be 40 minutes from where we reside, but it is so worth the drive and they will be seeing a lot more of me and my family. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!
