The Sweet Spot

Unfortunately go by for a standard vanilla ice cream dipped cone in chocolate. Paid and then was told we don’t have any chocolate dip. Sorry, but this is as basic as it gets. I truly want to support this place but really hard to after this experience.

Extremely slow! We waited over 30 minutes for our entire group to get their orders. Ice cream came out one at a time and drive thru customers were prioritized over walk ups who had ordered first.

Great place for a treat! Not only do they have outdoor seating provided, but they are also a drive-through! They also provide dairy-free options! We had a wonderful experience here and would definitely recommend:)

On a warm day, we were looking for a cool treat. We drove to a nearby, familiar spot but found it was closed for the day. Still determined, we looked for another option and discovered The Sweet Spot. We are thankful to find this gem. There are so many great options, and the staff are friendly and helpful. All 8 people in my party give it a thumbs up and highly recommend The Sweet Spot!

Google hours say they are open until 10pm on Saturdays. We got there just after 9pm and got in the drive thru. A couple of employees came outside and talked about the cars in line. I thought I heard them say we were the last car to be served. I can't be 100% certain, but I know they pointed at my car. We waited for them to serve the cars in front of us only to get to the window and be told that they were closed. I said that we'd been waiting in line for a while and I thought they pointed to us saying we were the last car. Their response was that it was the car in front of us and that we got in line after 9pm. I asked why they couldn't have informed us if this when they were outside looking at the line and the girl said they were working inside. I was surprised at the poor customer service and attitude. I'd pay $10 for ice-cream to support a small business if the service was friendly. However, with the poor service and being completely inconsiderate of their customer's time, I wouldn't support this business again if they were giving ice cream away!This was a great little spot in Madison Heights and I'm sad that it's turned into what it is now.

We pulled up around 9:15 pm on April 27th waited for 20 minutes for them to tell us their closed prior to that overhead employees complaining about a line and saying how they wanted to get off. Employees were running in and out of the back door looking at the line, knowing that they were closing and not notifying us and waisted our time. They were still serving customers that weren’t in the drive through, but told us they were closed. On the website it says y’all close at 10 and the young lady said they had been closed for 30 minutes but had a line of people in the drive thru and walk up customers. Very inconvenient and inconsiderate, we didn’t like the employees demeanor!
