Great wine and very friendly service
I treated myself to a late afternoon seating and was not disappointed. While the wines are primarily dry, there are some options on the menu for those who prefer something sweeter or sans alcohol.
The hosts were welcoming and attentive to all customers. I took my time, enjoying the view of the vineyard and the mountains beyond. Since the parking lot isn’t directly in line of sight of the main building or patio, people coming and going don’t disturb the peace of the birds and conversation. If you need more accessibility, there is a roundabout at the door for drop off and pick up. I’m looking forward to returning again.
If you’re planning a visit, you can make a reservation for either inside or on the patio. P.S. The views are spectacular either way.
Don’t skip this beautiful place. Definitely worth the trip out here. The wines were incredible…like nothing we have had before in Virginia but not in a try-hard kind of way. Just delicious and layered, surprising. They do offer some food options or you can bring your own food. I would recommend this place for couples or parties to visit without children; it’s a quiet and peaceful retreat with a lot of glass and delicate objects. An absolute hidden gem that we plan to visit frequently (without our children!)
Was on a weekend getaway and stopped by here. The ambiance was great and Francoise and Mike were wonderful hosts. We had a wine flight and a sangria and everything was magnificent. We would definitely recommend stopping by here and we'll be back if we're in the area!
Excellent. Beautiful views. Plan to go again
I hate a wonderful venue with delish wine
This is the place to savor the day. Everything is art. The wine, building, furniture, paintings and lighting. All complimenting a beautiful spot with a mountain sunset. Friendly service to boot. Could not be better unless it was next door.
Really enjoyed the wine as well as the bread and cheese. Their mulled wine is the closest to what I have when overseas that I have ever found. Location is easy to find with other wineries nearby. Beautiful views and great service.
Awesome spot - the flights were incredible. Kudos for the ping pong table. Everyone there is very friendly. Would definitely come back.
Revalation Vineyards is truly a breathtaking experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by scenery that could only be described as idyllic, especially since the golden hues of early fall have begun to set in. The landscape feels like a painting, with rolling hills that create the perfect backdrop for a peaceful afternoon.
We visited to celebrate my father's birthday just last weekend, and from the very start, we were embraced by a warm, inviting atmosphere that made the day even more special.
The highlight of our visit, without a doubt, was the opportunity to chat with Françoise herself. She shared stories about her rich life experiences, which reflect the heart and soul that both she and her husband have poured into the business. Her calm, intentional demeanor mirrored the quiet grace imbued in the venue.
Whether you're a seasoned wine connoisseur or simply someone looking to unwind and enjoy beautiful surroundings, this vineyard delivers on all fronts.
Needless to say, we’ll be returning, and I couldn't recommend Revalation Vineyards enough. It's not just a place to visit—it's a place to savor, and one we will cherish in our family memories for years to come. This is a perfect, intimate escape, and one I'd recommend a thousand times over.

I tried four wines during my visit and they all were average or below average. The property and tasting room are beautiful.
This place is perfect! They are dog friendly and allowed us to bring our own snacks. It was quiet with a beautiful view. Amazing wines and atmosphere. ?
Absolutely stunning! After my first visit, I am excited to say that Revalation has moved to the top of my list of best wineries in the Northern Virginia area. Kind, welcoming staff and atmosphere. Delicious and thought-out wines. Extremely aesthetically pleasing, clean and relaxing.
Today was the first time my husband and I popped by Revalation and it was quite charming. To be honest I've hesitated for more than a year as my passing thoughts went to tent revivals and brimstone. The owners were engaging and delightful. Now for the reason you might read rambling like this- the wine. I could not have been more pleasantly surprised with what we encountered. [we've been to way too many unremarkable VA vineyards]. The sparkling- Zeus, I believe, was lovely. We also did 2 flights, white + rose and the red flight. As with all wine tastings, your particular pallet/taste in styles and grapes will vary. That said, the varietals were spot on for what you'd expect. In fact after I learned a bit more about their story I was even more impressed at the sophistication they were already achieving for a relatively young enterprise. And...they introduced me to a grape by the name of Tannat that I'd never encountered. Great couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. Worth stopping by.
Avoid during the hot and humid days. Parking far from tasting room. You can drop people off then go park and sweat your way back to your party. Then sweat your way back out to get the car to pick up your party. Drivers nightmare venue. See other reviews for tastings. I had a revelation and stayed in the car. FYI cars that are parked near tasting rooms is for the staff.
