We enter the restaurant and about three people came in after us. After waiting for about 20 minutes, I decided to ask the assistant manager if we could have someone take our drink order. After, another customer comes in and gets served, I then go back to the assistant manager and he said the server doesn’t want to work and is going home. I can’t believe it’s almost 2026 and we’re still in this place. Call it bad service? I call it horrible service and I will never go back to another Bob Evans. Out of all places Manassas is the last place I thought I’d experience this type of treatment. My 81 year old mother and I then had to walk back out in the cold/wind.

The assistant manager did give me the owners number and said he probably will not answer, which he didn’t. Hopefully he responds to this. Worst customer service. STAY AWAY. Bob Evans Manassas Virginia.

I love coming to bob evans and eating, service is good always, except on this occasion. The employee I was served by was visibly irritated and rather dismissive. I believe her name was zafan. Her attitude was horrible and she was extremely rude to her coworkers and manager, she checked on me once within the hour I was there. Very disappointing, the food was good and that's the only reason this wasn't a one star review for all three criteria.

I've never seen anything so disorganized in all my past experience ordering my feast at this stablishment. The improvise drive thru only makes things worse. Not even McDonald's in their busy times got me waiting for 2 1/2, especially after having a prepaid order. This ridiculous coming from Bob evans. Never again.

Took 40 minutes past pick up time for my food to come out. And then my order was missing multiple items. Service was mediocre. And mind you this is my first time trying bob evans. Will never go back again.

I’ve been coming to this Bob Evans for over 20 years, and for the past 8–9 years it has become a special tradition for me and my kids. We’ve always appreciated the warm service from the long-time staff and the consistency of the food.

However, during my most recent visit I noticed a significant decline in the management and overall upkeep of the restaurant. The restrooms were extremely dirty — the toilets, the floors, and the overflowing trash bins all showed a level of neglect I had never seen here before. Out of respect for other customers, I will not be sharing the photos I took of the restroom conditions, because I don’t think it’s pleasant for anyone to see those publicly. I will only include a picture of the hand towel dispenser, which was visibly dirty.

Another thing that stood out was the silverware. In all these years I’ve never received utensils with visible water spots or residue, but this time several pieces had noticeable marks, as if they hadn’t been checked before being placed on the table. It really felt like there was no oversight in areas where there used to be very clear standards.

The long-time employees continue to be kind, and the food itself remains good, but the atmosphere and attention to cleanliness are not what they used to be. I understand that staffing and management changes can affect operations, but I truly hope this location can return to the level of care that made it such a reliable place for so many years. This restaurant holds a lot of family memories for us, and I would love to see it get back on track.
