Sure, you can find some decent BBQ here, but if you’re on the hunt for some authentically crafted Korean cuisine, this place will totally satisfy you. I brought my parents here—both in their 70s and visiting from Korea—and this restaurant delivered an experience on par with the finest Korean dishes back home. The kimchi made with ‘gat’ (갓김치) was exceptionally good, and the beef bone and cabbage(우거지) soup could easily rival the specialists in Korea. The side dishes, steamed eggs, kimchi pancakes, and fried dumplings were also top-notch. And I can’t leave out the friendly service—it was spot on!

Overall, we didn't have a good experience.Didn't like the fact that the only way our family could sit together was if we all ordered the same thing. The "all-you-can-eat" people could only sit on one side of the restaurant, while the "single-order box dinner" folks had to be seated on the other. Odd arrangement. On the plus side, our server was nice.Weird that they play American acoustic guitar pop/rock music, and use Japanese privacy screens as decor. I know the restaurant is physically in the mall, but there must be some way to tint the windows so you're not seeing all of the shoppers walk by. Odd atmosphere. On the plus side, the restaurant was clean.Food was average at best. It was the first time I didn't finish everything on my plate, or order seconds (or thirds). Also, not sure why they serve Miso soup and a salad at a KBBQ place--that's usually the first course at a Japanese steak house.Comparing Breakers vs. Honey Pig vs. Iron Age: Honey Pig wins on food quality, and Iron Age for best ambiance.

As a Korean American who LOVES good Korean food, I am so happy this place is close to our house!! For starters, the service is extremely friendly and helpful. Good Korean food takes time when it's made from scratch, and their food is from scratch...even the eggs. We ate from their a la carte side and not AYCE.I really enjoyed the flavor of my seafood pancake, which was nice and thick. My LA Kalbi was soooo good!! Their marinade is delicious, and their meat is tenderized with real pears instead of just MSG and chemicals. You can taste how clean and fresh it is. The banchan side dishes were all so yummy and tasty! I was craving some really good Korean food made fresh, and this fit the bill! My kids got little kid boxes with beef bulgogi and rice with some sides. Steamed eggs are my favorite and theirs is so good!!! It's not all watery like some places.If you're in a rush then it's not ideal since it takes some time to make everything from scratch. However the food was really good and service was great! The ambiance is pretty typical of most Korean BBQ places and the place was clean (including the bathroom).I highly recommend their food and this place!!

We went to Breakers to celebrate my daughter's 23rd birthday. Our waitress was AWESOME!!!! I wish I got her name so I could call her out but alas, I didn't. Marcie came to out table and gave us a tutorial on how to incorporate different ingredients in the table (and radish disc she brought with her); it was so cool!! We will definitely be back. This is the best Korean BBQ restaurant we've been too. If I could give more stars, I would!
Had a great anniversary dinner here. The live music was beautiful. Food was good. Service was excellent. Will be back.
