WOW, found this place while we were traveling to PA from NC. The food was outstanding. The chicken tenders are great. The staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. I Will stop again when traveling to

Stoped today for a piece of pizza like I’ve done numerous times in the past. Ask for a slice of pizza, receive the pizza with a ticket and then pay the ticket on the way out. It shouldn’t be complicated.

Today, the lady in the food service area insisted I need to pay the slip first. When I asked why - she insinuated I may not pay for it.

That’s simply insulting. I tried talking to the lady who was cashiering but she was just rude.

Whatever, I’ll just start going to Y Not Stop across the street. Their prices are usually cheaper on things anyways.

I visited today for the first time. I assume this is a "Champ's Chicken" franchise location inside a local gas station, given the name Charlie Bob's not being on the packaging for the food or any of the products... As such, this should be the same quality of food you'd expect at any of the Champ's Chicken locations. I've never had it before, so this was an adventure for me...

The fuel cost at the location was high for the area. When I visited, it was $3.19, while a station just down the road was $3.03.

The food I ordered from Champs Chicken was the 4 pc fried fish (catfish) special, for $15. For $15 I had expected it would come as a meal, but nope - it was 4 pieces of fish in a box. The fish tasted alright, but was extremely salty, which is a shock to me because I am one of those family members which everyone else knows for dumping salting on nearly everything, and is the first one to reach for the salt shaker when eating out anywhere... This fish had the traditional crispy crunchy breadcrumb batter, with a nice flaky hot interior. The food was pretty good, but probably not worth the $15 - Maybe $9.99-11.99, since it came with no drink and no sides. The food was ready pretty fast. The staff were friendly and polite.

Since this is essentially a franchise restaurant inside another location, what they have you do is this: They write down your order, they give you the ticket, you walk over to the gas station clerk counter, you hand them the ticket, they ring you up and mark it paid, you take the ticket back over to the Champs counter and hand it back when you get your food. An interesting way to do it for sure, but I can see why they do it like that.

Parking: 4 spots at the pumps. 4-7 spots for cars in front.

Got breakfast today from here got scrapple eggs and cheese bread was very hard scrapple was burnt and got biscuits and sausage gravy it was so salty never again one lady there wasn't wearing gloves be careful with this place .

First time going, I heard about the chicken ordered 2 breast and fries to go. I was very pleased and well worth the wait. I will let folks know, my wife is just read that you serve breakfast and was naming things that you have, two words: I'm eating. Keep doing what you do

Idk if it was off day or what but it sucks. Chicken clearly was old.... like I'm talking yesterday's heating back up. Cause it was 1030 and I'm pretty sure they open at 8. So no way the chicken should be the way it was. Fries might as well have been in the same boat. Really sad...I'll give it another chance on another day and time and maybe change my review.

Great food. The chicken livers and gizzard are popular so the wait might be a while. They have a good system on how to order pay, receive the food. Its not fancy but it's gooood.

I stop every morning for diesel and all my day needs, the women a cashier is soo very rude, very disrespectful to customers, I know this lady since 2013 , she was living in Annandale va , she was in a very bad situation, this gas station give her a new life , but she is not loyal to this business, I’m just requesting to owner that save your business and teach her how to deal with customers,thanks
