I was told about this seafood place called Crosby's Crab Co.. I was excited by their various selections of things. However, I ordered half a dozen of XL yesterday and when I got home there were MAYBE 2 that fit into the category of XL. Two of the crabs were more like a XS (literally no meat in it). $65 for half a dozen of these lightweight crabs doesn’t sit right. This was my first time ever ordering from this site and I’m very disappointed in the crab sizes, especially after I spent $200 in 10 mins. Let’s get it together Crosby!!! The one I opened has no meat!!

I love this place but, the last batch of crabs were horrible. It’s not right selling large crabs at premium prices when they know they’re junk crabs meaning they are light and mealy. Upfront honesty and reduced prices would make it worth buying the crabs, meaning the price of the crabs should also mirror the quality of meat and how full they are.

Crosby's is still there, and better than ever! I got half a bushel of large male crabs for a birthday feast and they were enjoyed by all our guests. It's been a few years since I went to Crosby's, but I won't let it be that long again! They have been here for as long as I remember, we used to get crabs here way back in the 70's and always looked forward to pickin' and feasting on blues! They had a good selection of local oysters and some beautiful fish fillets in the showcase, I'll keep them in mind next time I'm up for some of those!

One of my customers made a suggestion for me to try Crosby's Crab. I ordered a dozen extra large crabs, hoping I wouldn't get a mix of sizes like other places I have tried. Let me tell you, they were all extra large crabs and so meaty that I ate them over the course of 2 days! I was so full after just 6 that I saved the 6 for the next day. Also, they know how to spice them without just dumping a cup of old bay seasoning all over them.
I also got a dozen oysters on the half shell to take home. They were set on ice and were perfect when I arrived home to enjoy them.
I highly recommend! Just do not take them all, as I will also be coming back for another dozen.

We come here often and the food is fresh and delicious. The lobster bisque is AMAZING and I get it frequently. Shrimp toastie was recommended and it was great, but we did not care for the lobster rolls. Their shrimp seasoning is great and we use it at home as well! Overall, great local location to grab seafood and/or a quick bite!

I found this quaint seafood shop that also custom steams your seafood just the way you like it. It only takes about 10-15 minutes for them to steam it, and you can even call ahead for pickup. My batch had a few crabs that weren't the freshest, but all in all, I can't complain—it saved me a 30-minute drive compared to trekking out to Chesapeake Bay for three hours.
