Awesome assortment of playable games and games for purchase. The food was pretty good, but also got extra point for the creative menu names. Friendly and helpful staff. Overall great experience
First time visitor and will not be going back. They had one server who was working his butt off. Very slow, forgot the order of the 1 pregnant person at the table then still charged for it after the server said they would take it off. When asked to take it off the hostess was rude and made things more difficult. Ended up taking the burger home because the rest of the table had been done with their food for almost 25 minutes.
Unfortunate. Thanks to the one male server that was hustling and working every table for dinner; hope it gets easier for you!

Such a great place for a fun meal and drinks. Came from out of town and enjoyed dinning them playing board/card games. Food was delicious and the local beer selection was impressive. Staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this unique gem!

Went, got a drink and played cards. Had a fantastic time. The atmosphere is really great. Highly recommend!
Edit four months later: Have enjoyed multiple game nights and have had such a fun time. Great for families and friends. The food is imaginative and delicious. You should definitely try it.
Edit Four years later: I still love to attend game nights regularly. It is a wonderful and welcoming atmosphere. I have met really lovely people and learned lots of new games. This store has facilitated an excellent community and I feel lucky to be a part of it.

Great place to spend an evening playing some games, eating good food, and having some drinks. There is a $5 per table charge for access to the games. They have hundreds to choose from though. You should definitely plan to spend some time here. It will be much longer than your normal “dinner out.”

Staff was not very attentive. Forgot to put food orders in and had to be tracked down for just about everything (napkins, silverware, checks, etc.)
Food was great, beer selection was good, great atmosphere.

Great place for all board game lovers, huge collection of games to choose to play till you eat delicious food or have a beverage. Benn few times to play on the board game nights, sadly recently I don’t have time to join but will be back for sure. The owner is nice and welcoming to new people that never been before. So if you like board games make sure to visit this place and try some of the food till you are there.

Waited an hour to get our food and drinks. The server had to re-ask us what our entire order was probably 3-4 times. Then they forgot a drink we ordered, so we had to order it again. Lastly, the food came out frozen. All in all, just a terrible experience that still cost me $50 even after they delivered a terrible experience.

This was… so sadly disappointing. We’ve been looking forward to coming here for a long time, but we live near DC, so it’s too far for a casual drop-in. When our parents came in, we planned a whole day around coming here with them- we did the battlefield, the Air & Space Museum, then came to Manassas to do some board games and do late lunch/early dinner.
But in spite of the cafe being only half-full (and that is actually half-full- there were empty tables everywhere), the person at the counter told us we couldn’t sit down, that it was a 45-minute wait. Confused, we asked if we could sit down, play, and just not order food for 45 minutes, assuming that a staffing issue was the problem. But they told us we didn’t have a reservation. I looked on their website again after we left, and there is no place that mentions (or will allow) making a reservation.
We wound up just leaving and going back to the board game cafe in Clarendon. It’s less picturesque (the Crossroads place is very cute, both inside and out), but it doesn’t make up rules, and its staff are always super-nice.

Nice concept! Lots of fun!! My only peeve is the food! The grilled cheese was cold and not toasted. The burger was almost non existent. Heavy on the bread.

Food is ok, it's serviceable. A bit expensive for what you get, but it's passable.
Please do something about the heat, it's very hot inside (August 2025).
Service is pretty horrible. Server forgot about our requests all the time, poured drinks would take a long time to come out, didn't even get silverware.
