I stopped in for a sandwich dining alone, because I often have overlooked Crossroads for meals. It's a unique and very cool concept, a game room/pub. There are dozens, if not hundreds of games available to play, and it seems like a wonderful place to bring a group and have some bonding fun.
But I wasn't there to play, I was a single and wanted to try the food.
I ordered a Monte Cristo sandwich and a diet coke. The sandwich was really good, if a bit heavy, and came with some excellent sweet potato fries.
When the bill came I was surprised to see it was over $27. The sandwich was $17, coke about 3, taxes about 3. But I found there was a $5 table fee.
I understand, with groups coming in and playing games for hours why they would charge for the table, but I was alone, for half an hour to just eat.
I will go back with some friends some time to play a game or two, but at $27 plus tip for a sandwich, I won't consider Crossroads for my meals again.

There a few different aspects to this resteraunt I need to describe.First, this place has amazing food that is creative, fun to try and their options of different types of foods is amazing. Second, the service on both occasions of coming to the place is terrible. The last time was the worst. The waitress came to our table and asked us for our drinks and then left and never returned. 30 minutes later another waiter came by and then took our order. Our food came out great and timely, but the NO ONE came by again for so long. This was kind of the same experience as the time before. I get that we don't buy drinks while there because I don't drink alcohol but we do play and we have bought games before, so we are just as important as the next patrons.
I just felt the need to say that this is a fun place with a great atmosphere. The food is amazing and truly the only reason we have come back. The ability to play games while eating and socializing is also a great attribute of the place. I still recommend this place to others and will return myself. I just felt the need to say something after the last visit.

Horrible
Went recently on a Saturday evening. Waited 30 minutes for a group of 6. Initially service was decent, but as we stayed and played a game the staff disappeared. We were there from around 8 - 11 and no one asked if we wanted anything else for at least the last hour. And they stay open until 12. The staff started cleaning up around 11. We had one friend join and place an order and another sat with us without ordering. We were charged the 18% gratuity for the party of 8 without notice even though the entire party didn’t order. I normally don’t mind the gratuity but the service was terrible and 18% was too generous…particularly since we had to wait to even pay our bill. When we mentioned the service (or lack of) the server said she wasn’t our original server. Neither were worth that tip.

Atmosphere was nice to hang out with friends and play a board game over a meal. Unfortunately at my last visit, they were fully out of beef which greatly limited meal selection, and after the meals arrived, service stopped being attentive.

When arriving, the place seemed different and nice. Unfortunately, it was shortly into brunch and they only had 1 poor waitress on the floor to serve tables and greet and seat people (granted not fully packed even). Took a while to be noticed and seated. She took our order and we proceeded to wait, forever. Took a while to get our drinks and even longer for the food (about 40 min+). The food finally arrived and my husband's was cold, as if it sat that whole time, and mine was barely luke warm. While the food ended up being fairly good, it was not worth the wait and ultimate quality/price. Also, our server didn't even check on us again until we finally asked for the check, there were others who delivered the food and asked if we needed anything (more staff ultimately arriving). On top of that, I have seen reviews about the $5 table fee for getting games, but we didn't even play a game or anything and were still charged the fee. Should we have just stood in the middle of the room to eat, at a restaurant??

Our food was over one hour late. No staff would tell give us an update on our food order. No utensils- had to ask. One order was wrong, then tried to redo it, etc. Just a disaster!

I do love this place. Great game selection and a friendly staff that recognizes you if you come on the regular. My only quibble is pricing on the food. It's a touch high, and if you throw in a drink and the table fee, it's nearly 30 bucks per visit for a single person.
The prices are pretty much my only issue, and since opening the food quality has only gotten better!
Drink prices are very good!

This is a pretty cool place catering to a niche crowd. The food is really good, though, especially the humpty dumpling gnocchi soup and the Parmesan garlic fries.
Service loses one star because on both visits, there were reallllly long gaps between visits from our servers. We told a friend we went and he commented, “did the server come by twice in two hours?”
The servers are very inviting and accommodating, though. They also have a great knowledge of the many games.
The bar was very accommodating with making an off-menu cocktail.
I’d definitely go back.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere and really wanted to like this place. Everything else was lacking. Our server was very nice, but mumbled quietly when speaking. I had to ask him to repeat everything he said, sometimes more than once. My husband's meal was incorrect and came to the table a long time before mine came. He was almost done eating before my meal even came to the table. Eggs were cold and the sausage gravy was literally a solid blob. The server apologized multiple times, but it was just a overall bad experience. Maybe brunch just isn't their thing because it does seem like a really cool place.

Enjoy the nice flight of beer good unique beer. My Monte Cristo's sandwich could have used a little more flavor. I'd suggest they use a saltier ham and a stronger flavored cheese. As it was it was a little on the bland side. The fish and chips were good but not very good according to my wife. The chicken bites (not the name) appetizer came with sauces we felt were quite good. A mixed bag all in all.
The atmosphere was wonderful and unique.

Cool place....but I have been here for an hour and finally got my app, Totchi Toro. Took about 10 minutes to get my drink order in and another 10 for someone to bring it The tots were good, but the server never brought us silverware. I wanted to eat a meal, but abandoned all hope and simply asked for the check. I would come back; I think my server was having a bad day.
What a fun idea. We were greeted by our server when we entered and she asked if we had ever been in before. We answered no, so she told us about playing games and which games we could choose from. We were never told that we would be charged a "table fee."
We picked out two games and brought them to our table. Our server came over and told us we were only allowed two games at a time. It seemed unnecessary since we were seated and only had two games.
It took a while to decide on food and she came by often to ask if we were ready. After we ordered and began playing, our server did not come back for a long time. Someone else brought out our food and we enjoyed it while playing our game. The ranch dressing was very bland, the mac was tasty though heavy on the garlic, but the chicken tenders were really good.
I waited with an empty glass for too long and finally saw her passing and was able to ask for a refill. That was her only service after we placed our order.
