Had several of their cakes for my youngest's 14th birthday. The red velvet cake was superb. Texture, taste, color... 100% on point. One of the best I've ever had. There was an almond cake (I don't remember the full name) that my son loved. I enjoyed the tres leches cake. So why only three stars? The passionfruit cheesecake was inedible (to the point several of us spit it out). I love passionfruit and I love cheesecake. This cheesecake had an almost Jell-O texture and the passionfruit coating on top was one-note and essentially meaningless. I'll try anything else from this bakery but will never get that one again.

I've been wanting to visit this store for ages and finally got a chance today - wow! I'm so glad I did :D The store is decorated so cute and they have so many cake/cheesecake slices sold singly ready to go.

I got a passionfruit mousse, lucuma explosion, and (2) big alfajors to try today. I've never had lucuma before so I was surprised at its flavor, it was delicious! Not fruity at all but more mapley, and went so well with the chocolate.

The employee that rang me up was kind and sweet! It seems like a clean, fun place to hang out and have a drink and treat. I'm excited to go back and try their others desserts!

Lucky Charm

I was super excited to see they offered a cake with dulce the leche, but I was disappointed when we served the cake to guests. The cake was dry on the inside with a fridge taste. For the quality, unfortunately, the cake was overpriced. We served the cake the same day it was picked up. I felt embarrassed the day of my birthday, as I hyped up the cake because of the dulce de leche, only for the taste to be off.

The only redeeming quality was the presentation of the cake, and the check out process.

Dolce Amore Sweet LLC is a gem. I’ve visited several times and keep coming back for the same reasons. I’m a fan of their Peruvian coffee—moderate body with a balanced, medium acidity that truly highlights the beans without overpowering your taste buds with sweetness.

I always order a Caramel Latte with oat milk, hot, and it hits the spot every time. What I love most is that it’s not super sweet; it’s flavorful and well-balanced, allowing the caramel to shine through.

Another standout item is the Spinach Empanada—hot, filling, and satisfying. Perfect for a quick, comforting bite alongside a cup of coffee.

They also sell a variety of other bakery items, which look tasty, though I haven’t tried them yet. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service has been consistently friendly.

If you’re in the mood for good coffee with thoughtful flavors and tasty baked goods, Dolce Amore Sweet LLC is worth a visit.

Gem in Manassas. Most pastries end up being disappointing or made in a factory like in most restaurants but you can see them making it themselves. So glad I found a dessert place nearby

Nice little shop for desserts, the cakes and flan were moist and not overly sweet. Customer service was good. Empanadas are flaky and yummy!

I’ve been coming to Dolce Amore Sweets for a while now, and it never disappoints! The food is always incredibly fresh and delicious. I'm a huge fan of their chicken salad sandwich and the pan con tamal, but the empanada de lomo saltado is hands-down my favorite item on the menu. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, and it’s clear that this is a genuine, great spot run by wonderful people. A true gem!

My favorite coffee spot in Manassas! The coffee in the cookie cup is a must-try—so fun and delicious. I couldn’t leave without grabbing some of my favorite desserts too. Everything tastes homemade and full of love. The service is always amazing and welcoming, and makes you feel right at home. Always a treat coming here!

Dulce Amore - Virginia
As a Peruvian, I’m always on the lookout for places that bring the authentic taste of home and Dulce Amore did not disappoint!

It was my first time trying it, and my friend (who's a big fan) took me for breakfast. We had pan con chicharrón and tamal peruano, and everything was absolutely delicious. I also took home some chiffon cake and an alfajor each bite reminded me of Peru.

The service was warm and friendly, and the decor was adorable, full of charm and positive messages. Such a lovely experience I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Virginia!

The cake made by Dolce Amore for our baby shower was exceptional! A big thanks to Jennifer for her customer service and communication. We fed 30 hungry guests and everyone loved it.

This quaint, cozy and pleasant establishment is a refreshing alternative to Panera and Starbucks! The décor is very bright, welcoming and cheerful. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It seemed very clean and well maintained and smelled wonderful. Just some background information on my review. I like to read the reviews prior to me writing mine just to fill in any gaps that may be helpful. I liked to be very detailed to help readers make an informed decision. When I started to read the one star reviews I was starting to get concerned. Albeit my purchase was not a meal or cake. I ordered a latte and as a larger individual I succumbed to the temptation of the display cases of cakes, and other eye appealing baked goods. The latte was very good and had an artistic flair, the trademark is a heart with the steamed milk for these baristas! The service was by far better than the prior mentioned national chains and the coffee perhaps several fold better if you have a good understanding as to why Starbucks coffee is more bitter(it is not for the stronger caffeine or bolder taste, it is to homogenize the beans to get the consistent flavor because they are over roasted [something like that not sure how else to explain it]). At any rate the coffee or latte to be precise was above average and any lacking in quality was certainly made up for by the pleasant barista and the atmosphere of the bakery. I also had the triple chocolate mousse. I thought it was certainly above average and a fair value for the price, but then again I was not expecting a 5 star or even a 1 star Michelin mousse. If you want something different with some out of the norm offerings give it a try. It has a Peruvian twist to it so I was not familiar with everything there, but to me good carrot cake is good carrot cake and that is what I am going to try my next visit there. As for food poisoning, it has been a few hours since leaving there and no signs of sickness, food poison etc. If that changes I will report back here. But if not I will be a repeat customer. Hope this helps and you enjoyed the read!

Needed a last minute tres leches cake and family loved it. Have been looking for alfajores around the area, finally found my go to spot! BOMB. Love their appreciation for Jesus, thank you!
