My go-to spot for amazing Latin food! I highly recommend the Birria tacos or Papusas. The servers are very kind and helpful, last time I dined in I got a delicious oat drink (atole de avena) on the house. I get takeout from here nearly every week, so good :)

I came to Don Jose’s expecting a lot. The ratings are superb. The prices would indicate a very nice place with excellent food. When I walked in, I was greeted by a place with high ceilings and lots of empty walls and lots of space between tables. I ordered Sopa de Abuela and received a “soup” with good tasting liquid - and lots of it - but whole pieces of chicken buried in the soup along with two whole potatoes and two very large chunks of carrot. So I was able to break up the carrot and potatoes to eat with my soup, but the whole chicken pieces defied my bidding. They moved around in the soup and needed a plate for chopping up. I moved a leg to my rice plate where I attempted to pry off some meat to eat. I was able to separate two pieces of meat which I ate. The meat was stringy and tough. The skimpy breast did give up two pieces of meat which were medium tender. Needless to say, this was a very unsatisfying meal. The decent service couldn’t make up for the cold surroundings and the tough, skimpy meat in my sopa. I will never go back to Don Jose’s Kitchen and I am very disappointed.

I ordered a cake for my niece and daughter's graduation party. Chocolate cake with Tres Leches and caramel filling. The cake was AMAZING!!! I showed the young lady a picture of what I wanted and they copied it perfectly. Thank you for helping make our party a hit!

My Granddaughter and I had an impromptu urge to eat out close to home. We have enjoyed the bakery items yet had not tried the restaurant. It was a nice surprise. I ordered 2 of my favorites; the calamari appetizer and the jambalaya. I usually get these items at restaurants that serve a bigger seafood variety so I am not even certain what I was expecting. They were both WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!! Try this place when you can.

I can say it was the best decision I made when planning my son's graduation. Excellent service, food, prices, and very clean. I loved everything. Everyone was very friendly and attentive to the guests. A truly great place. I recommend it.😇

I wish I could give this place and Don Jose and staff 1 Million stars! Last week we reserved the room inside the restaurant for my sister in Law and brother wedding, the space was amazing don Jose was very accommodating and the staff was very attentive and amazing! The food delicious, price very affordable we had to look at other place and this was the best one, within our budget and delicious! I love the fact that Don Jose doesn’t charge you to use the room for parties as long as you get the food from him! I do party decoration so he was very accommodating with the time to decorate! If you are ever near by please stop by the restaurant and if you have an event this is the place to go!

The food is horrible, we have visited on 2 occasions and nothing to see, the first time we ordered stewed tongue and it looked like a red broth, today we ordered chicken soup and the chicken was rancid. What a shame the place is so beautiful and the food so horrible.
Very cute bakery but I got a cupcake that was very old, I had to throw it with only 1 bite. Also got a flan which was okay.

I had the crab cakes and red velvet cake. It was a great experience, will definitely go back. The only thing I recommend is for the bakery to use cream cheese frosting for the red velvet cake.

Had high expectations based on the 4.7 average review and pictures on the menu. Wasn't terrible but definitely won't be back. Ordered: artichoke spin dip and came with chips 2.5 out of 10. Chicken Alfredo 3/10 and chicken quesadilla 6/10. Service was slow and just overall a strange vibe.

Brunch was absolutely delicious! We had the buffet and it was more than enough. We loved the fresh cheese, fried beans, plantains with white sauce. Something different and worth trying. On site omelette prepared with fresh ingredients. French toast from the menu was yummy too.
