Wonderful place to eat! So clean inside and a nice inviting atmosphere. Went with my husband and we loved that they had Christian worship music playing in the background the evening we went. We showed up around 9:15-20 though they closed at 10:00 and we didn’t feel rushed to leave but were encouraged to take our time. The waitress was incredibly sweet and the food was delicious and so well presented. We will be back!

The Good:-Our server, Kenny G. (yes, really), provided brilliant, personable service throughout our entire stay. He even brought us fresh glasses of water after we had paid our check.-I felt guilty digging into each course. The chef presented each plate so beautifully here. Every plate at this restaurant is a work of art.-The bakery has plenty of desserts from which to choose.-You’ll find the cleanest restrooms on earth here! From what I could see, the kitchen is also well-kept.The Bad:-Don Jose’s has a cavernous, echo-like feel. There is little intimacy or atmosphere here. This place would do well to replace the large, overhanging candelabras with a warmer quality light.-We had to go outside (unbelievably without paying our check) to re-enter the bakery in order to choose our dessert.-I did not like the flour tortillas (they were leavened) or the refried black beans. Would have enjoyed unleavened tortillas and refried pinto beans instead. The rest of the food was exceptionally delicious.-Verdict: Don Jose’s has great food along with quality service. Check it out!

Yesterday I was with my family for the first time in this restaurant. We were delighted with the food and the atmosphere. The family barbecue was delicious. The menu is designed for all tastes. From the moment you enter the table, the staff serves you with a smile and is very careful in every detail. We will definitely return.

The staff greeted us warmly and seated us immediately. We were given a basket of chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and crisp. All of the food was prepared well and served timely. I highly recommend the beef stew. They have a bakery next door. Take a look at the desserts before being seated. They will bring it to you when you are ready.

WOW WOW!!!! is not all I’m going to say this restaurant is Amazing the food is so delicious .I had the steak breakfast one week I had well done steak and use the butter knife to cut it lol that all I have to say, I had the beef stew the meat pulls apart with the fork that’s all I have to say. All the sides are delicious everything is so fresh you taste the freshness. The ambience clean and fresh the bathroom yes I said it. I told my daughter even if she does not have to go go anyway ?? she did and was amazed. Thank you to all the chefs & staff. Oh and stop by the bakery when you leave delicious!!!!!BlessingsWest

Not your typical Mexican chain,a delightful find! Support small businesses! ?I would love to share pics, but my hubby and I keep devouring the morsels of heavenly food. So enraptured are our senses, it's only after we lick our plates clean do I recall to take a photo! This has happened 3x!Everything we tried was INSANE! SO FREAKING DELECTABLE, we lost our minds.The flavors are layered, rich and delicate with the love of Don Jose sprinkled on every bite.I'm in love with the Birra Taco,steak quesodilla, the salmon, the trout, the soup...and Stop the presses.. The Brussel sprouts.the dining room is simple and lovely. We've only gotten pick up and I can only imagine the food is THAT much more fresh from the kitchen .You must dine here! You MUST! ?

We arrived as a group of nine and were seated promptly. Menu has nice variety. Server was friendly young man Food was slow in coming but was delicious. One friend requested a dish she'd had as a special not on menu and chef made her 2 orders. Clean environment and each dish made fresh by chef so meals came out individually. We didn't mind and chatted our time away enjoying chips and salsa. Attached to restaurant is a lovely Bakery.
