I was born and raised in Mexico City. There are very few authentic Mexican places in the DMV area but I would consider this place very legit!

I’ve been here for years for years but ever since the owner Raul stopped coming the staff stopped caring . 20 min for 6 tacos was my wait time . Oh did I mention I was the only customer in there . My respects to Raul and his family but I won’t come in here anymore until he is back

Thanks for the old dried out meat tacos ! I guess I was not worthy enough for fresh made tacos of love. It must be the complexion of my skin. They said you will eat this and like it gringo!

I order a menudo soup on Sunday and 4 tacos. 2 barbacoa and 2 tripas the tacos were okay good flavor but the menudo was horrible it tasted sour like it was starting to spoil it had the smell also I didn't even eat half of it not coming back to this place. $40 on 4 tacos one menudo and one harrito drink

This is a great authentic Guadalajarense restaurant. They have a great selection of meats and dishes local to Zapopan/GDL you can’t find at other Mexican restaurants. I love going for their lonches de pierna and tortas ahogadas. The size of the tacos are exactly what you would get in Mexico, and you never get burnt meat like I have at other popular spots. I wish they would add a torta loca and torta ahogada de camarón to the menu to really tie in the GDL menu! Love this place.
