The food is really great but the waitresses working here are in need of some education, Dina’s sister specially, she’s the type of person that if she doesn’t like you she would say offensive things out loud so you can hear her, no matter how hard you try to avoid any contact with her she would use a phone or a video on the tv to make offensive comments/criticize the people that come to this place to eat! Haters like her should be fired on the spot!!! I just hope Rui or his wife reads this review because it’s totally unacceptable!!!

I was really excited to try Espresso Portuguese American Grill, as I had heard good things about it. However, I was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered the grilled chicken and the grilled fish. Both dishes were very dry and flavorless. The chicken was so dry that it was almost tough to chew, and the fish was bland and tasteless.Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at Espresso Portuguese American Grill. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The steak on the rock is delicious. Great service is only given to their regulars. And the atmosphere is not family friendly. I went on a date and took them 20 mins to even give us a menu then another 15 mins before they came to ask what we would like to drink. Finally, by the time they came around with our drinks and asked what we would like, it had been 50 mins. While the whole time they were socializing and take care of the men at the bar and men at the tables

Espresso is a nice tradition I have with my dad and we try to come here as often as possible. The atmosphere at the bar is very friendly with several regulars and the lovely girls at the bar are very welcoming. I loooove the grilled chicken and usually order it but you can never go wrong with their daily specials. It's one of my favorite places to catch soccer games!

Real deal Portuguese food and drinks, not fancy but delicious... tons of Portuguese at the place makes the experience slightly better, thinking that you are there in a way. They have daily dishes that are typically super good and different things to try out. Stop by if you can.

The waitress tried her best, however the ambience was very bad, with lots of noise. The cod itself was the tail and not the main part. Waste of time coming here.

The Portuguese American Restaurant is Manassas, VA provides unique foods from the Ibero Peninsula including seafood delicacies like sea food paella and stone grilled chicken that makes any meal delightful. We also tried the garlic shrimp sautéed plate, and it was delicious! Excellent service and very pleasant atmosphere. ?
