I got curry goat and jolloff rice (medium size). Very flavorful. It’s made to order so there may be a little wait. Definitely recommend.

I love this place! There is a wait for your meal but, I’m okay with that since it’s made to order. Great addition to the community; friendly service & fresh Ghanaian cuisine!

I went to the new location in Woodbridge I had jollof, plantain & fish stew. The food was freshly made and very tasty. Love the spacious ambience and very clean. Overall service was excellent, I will highly recommend.

Had some fufu with soup and it tasted just like back home!

For a 16oz soup I had to wait an hour to pick up and door dash deliver to a customer. There is no sense of urgency and the gentle man in the back making food is wearing a huge winter coat. Very uncomfortable and unprofessional

Worst costumer service
Had to wait for more than an hour for an order
This is ridiculous service

They have the worst peanut butter soup😒 not taste and it not even good for the stomach. As soon as I started eating it I began to vomit.

We needed a quick lunch on a Sunday afternoon, and decided to try Ginnie's. We try to support local and family owned whenever we can. We put in a pretty big order for takeout, and it was ready in a reasonable amount of time. The staff were very kind and courteous. We don't have a lot of experience with African food, but we loved it! We had the yam fufu, okro soup, jollof rice one w beef & one w chicken, and the peas and plantains. The portions were enormous! We had way more food than we anticipated, but that's ok because we will happily eat the rest for dinner. We will definitely be eating here again, thank you Ginnie!

a hit or miss. the first time i ate here the food was good. i got cassava leaves and fish and another with beef. the beef is always hard. then the last two times it just got worse each time. the okra had hard stems in it made it hard to eat. the cassava leaves were so bland no taste and not the consistency it’s supposed to be. the only thing i enjoyed a bit was the jollof and plantains. I spent $40 plus dollars to be delivered on Uber eats for nothing.

This goat and fish meal that me and my friend had was horrible. They both were contaminated with Human Hair 🤢🤮🤑 uuuhhh !!! So disgusting it was absolutely dry blain with no taste and not tender at all i will never go back to this place Ever again !!!

I ordered the beef and rice , the beef was served with a fork and spoon. The beef was so dry I could not even cut it or bite it without tearing and flinging the tomato sauce everywhere. I'm not sure if that's how the beef is supposed to be, but it was inedible for me. The rice was great, but 20$ for rice and plantains with this rubbery beef makes me unsatisfied. I don't think I could try it again.

I went there the other day worst Cassva leaf I have ever tasted. Please go to DC Arlington area and get the right recipe on how to make it . You could barely chew it, and it just felt like you were chewing paper. just a waste of my $17 should’ve went to Nori
