This place has really gone down hill! Buffet half empty. No won ton soup. Soup station closed. Filthy dirty men's room. Food quality poor. Cannot see this restaurant lasting much longer.

The restaurant is very dirty. The staff are not very knowledgeable. The people I came with complained of the food being cold. I got the food on the grill, the man making it very rude. Do not recommend!

I haven't been there in about 2 years & wanted to try it today. It was $10.99 for lunch which isn't bad, but it smelled weird when I walked in, but I decided to stay. The food options are definitely less than what they offered b4 covid. The macaroni & cheese had no taste & was watery. Overall, I won't go back because I just don't think the place is clean.

I use to go here when I was younger. It was always busy, fresh food, place to go for Chinese food. It has went VERY DOWN in the quality or the food and service in a recent visit. We waited to get seated for a good 20 minutes (mind you there was a lady sitting on her phone in a booth in front of us), the waiter didn’t really “service” us. The food was DRY, LACKED IN FLAVOR, SEEMED OLD. People who worked there were always ON THEIR PHONE. The bill was $60 for 2 people, wasn’t worth it AT ALL.

Few options and overall the food doesn't taste good. Very disappointed. Some staff struggle with English.
the service was good but the food was not fresh and the taste was not good. my tummy hurts 30min so after the end of my meal, and i didn’t eat a lot because of the taste. i’m going somewhere else, im still hungry.
if i could give no stars, i would. Food was cold, corn was mushy, food tasted old and stale. I came very hungry and ended very disappointed. Bathroom was disgusting and service was very poor.
Everytime I've been there it has always been great fresh food and service. No complaints
I recently visited the hibachi buffet and sushi restaurant in Manassas, and unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. On a Saturday night, the selection of food available was extremely limited, with only a handful of items to choose from. To make matters worse, I noticed that there were bottles of medicine and insecticides placed right in the middle of the food trays. All of the soup stations were empty, and I couldn't help but wonder if this was a sign of things to come. The quality of the food was poor, and I found it difficult to find anything that was truly appetizing. The sushi was dry and lacked flavor, and the hibachi dishes were overcooked and lacked the traditional flavors that one would expect. The value of the food was also poor, and I felt that I was not getting my money's worth. It's worth noting that the restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday night, which should have been a red flag. The lack of customers should have been an indicator of the poor quality of the food and the overall experience.Overall, I would not recommend the hibachi buffet and sushi restaurant in Manassas to anyone. The limited selection, poor quality of food, and unhygienic conditions make it a dining experience to avoid.

Like many of the recent reviews suggest, Hibachi Buffet & Sushi isn't what it used to be. I remember the days when all of their items were hot and fresh. I made a visit recently, after craving for some Chinese buffet. It was surprising that the restaurant wasn't as full. The selection was pretty decent. However, almost all of the items just didn't taste the same. I miss the old days when this spot was the place to get some quality Chinese buffet.

Cool atmosphere, friendly service. Unfortunately one of the rest rooms was not looking good enough. A bad idea to add photo here.
Kid-friendliness: Kids have enough to chose from.
Wheelchair accessibility: The parking lot and entrance are okay for ease of movement.

Prior to covid i use to say it was a solid choice for lunch or dinner. Life after covid I wil l not be returning due to the following; price, cleanliness of bathrooms, food quality was between decent to dehydrated and a height test for toddlers. If I was you I would try else where. The one positive side our servers were great!
We used to like this place but it’s a shadow of what it used to be. Most of the items that we liked before are no longer here. Food did not taste fresh. Hostess did not even look up from her phone when we walked in as we waited for her to acknowledge us. I’m certain the pandemic must have been tough on them so hoping they can fix these issues and bounce back.
Never again. I was once told by a health inspector to never eat at a restaurant that had dirty bathrooms because its a reflection of what the kitchen looks like. Well, the bathrooms were disgusting and the food barely pallatable.. There were hardly any customers there, how hard can it be to clean the bathrooms?
