Had dinner here, party of six including two children. The kids love the pizza and a chicken nuggets as well as the pasta with red sauce. The adults were super pleased with the tomato basil bufala mozzarella. The house salad was average, but the dinners were hands-down delicious. Chicken piccata, beef lasagna, pepperoni pizza were all winners. Excellent value for money we will definitely be returning.Kid-friendliness: Have hi-chairs and kid menu.

I'm a regular at IL Faro Restaurant and I love every dish on the menu, the pizza is just so authentic, if you love Italian food you know what I'm talking about when I say the sauce is made to perfection, you can taste every ingredient and OMG you have to taste it for yourself to experience it. I usually go with my family but today I happened to be in the area; I ordered the Chilean Salmon IT IS to die for, its juicy, all the flavors blend so well, the veggies are crunchy and to mention the price it is like woooow $16 for a plate like this it is a steal. I am just grateful to find this place. Highly recommended!Kid-friendliness: Its a family oriented restaurant
So delicious and amazing prices! My boyfriend’s seafood bucatini was so flavourful, fresh, and was full of shrimp and mussels, they did not skimp at all! I had the chicken marsala and it was so creamy and delicious and again had tons of (organic) chicken! We felt right at home the service was 10/10!!!

My husband and I were in town visiting and thought “Italian” sounds good…found Il Faro and their reviews were great so gave it a try. I go the Spinach Ravioli ? it was sooo creamy and cheesy and the spinach was blended smooth and not stringy. So yummy. I used the garlic toast and cleaned my plate ?. My husband ordered the shrimp carbonara. It had plenty of shrimp and was served with a cheesy creamy sauce. The pasta was delicious - please try out this restaurant and keep it open and successful. Local is the way to go!

I loved this place! It really takes you by surprise as the entrance is a bit tacky, overly modest and unassuming. The food is delicious, the service is excellent and the beverage refills - unasked! - are perfect. Had the delicious handmade pizza with a light, sumptuous crust, a tasty house salad and also excellent tiramisu. The menu has more upscale items also and it is affordable! To the owners, clean up the outside, 2 potted plants, a chalkboard signboard & make the outside reflect the great interior!! Brava to you, it’s WONDERFUL! “Unhide” this hidden treasure!!!

I urge everyone in Northern Virginia suburbs to patronize this little gem. My wife and I had a lovely dinner at Il Faro last night with some friends who are in town touring DC and are staying at a hotel near this restaurant. The food was fantastic -- from the appetizers to the main dishes to the desserts -- and the staff and head chef were friendly and made us feel at home. Highly recommended!
Second time here and it is still just as spectacular, the quality of the food is excellent, the balance of flavors, all the attention of the waiter, the speed of the service for such excellent quality that it seems impossible to me that something like this exists but it is and this restaurant is totally recommended.
