Jumbo Lump Crab Cake Company

The crab great was full of crab and delicious. The shrimp pasta salad was good and tasted very similar to the crab salad which was made with IMITATION CRAB!! 🤢 Why in the WORLD would they use imitation crab at a crab cake establishment?? 🤦🏾‍♀️ Had I know this, I wouldn’t have ordered it and would’ve ordered chips or just not have ordered an additional side.

I called ahead to find out how long is their average order time since I was coming in from DC to manassas. I placed my order when I got within 20min. Arrived at the location with 5mins left to pick up order. Went into the store & was told they never saw the order flashing on the board. We were never alerted she said. So you’re going to have to give us the 5min and an extra 10min to get this order out.
When I walked into the location the two young ladies were sitting next to each other just talking and obviously not paying attention. Not a first good experience!! Payment ID: YfKwkzKpqCKP

It was empty! No customers in the 30 min on a Saturday afternoon. The food was actually better than I expected but not a good vibe.

WOW! Delicious.... the BEST crabcake I have ever had!!! Enjoyed a wonderful lunch at Frye's Famous Crab Cake and EVEN met the nice owner (and his lovely wife) the Fryes! See photo to appreciate generous portions! Great service, lovely atmosphere and you must try a slice of the vanilla/lemon cake for dessert. WOW! Thank you for the kind hospitality, Mr. Frye! We stand firm in saying what EVERY restaurant owner wants to hear..... we will be back!!! Thank you!!!

Excellent crab cakes! I came from out of town and had been craving a good crab cake and Frye's did not disappoint. Their team there was also very friendly in our brief interaction. Hope to be back soon!

Had some gfs tell me about this place & WOOOOOW sooo delicious!!!! I got the crab cake sandwich with chips and a side my side I chose was Cole slaw and it was also delicious!! I cannot recommend this place enough the crab cakes were so good and super meaty super generous with portions I’ll definitely be telling family and friends about this little hidden gem in manassas. Also tried my friend’s crab salad also amazing lol I couldn’t believe how good this place was hands down BEST CRAB CAKES in the area.

Best crab cake I ever had and potato salad is delicious too. Young man working inside was very helpful on the phone when placing order and after arriving to pickup food.

So I went to the tailor shop close to this food spot the beginning of the month. And I saw this guy waiting. I’m nosey so I waited with him and a woman came out to bring him food.. and he was soooo happy. I immediately sent a picture of the place to my bestie and told her that’s our next lunch spot!

It was sooooo damn good. I know this Google so cursing shouldn’t be a thing but it was TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE! We got crab cakes and crab salad as our side. And I was literally drooling the entire ride back to work while eating. I cannot remember the young man who helped us. But he is heaven sent!

We WILL be back to get the shrimp salad when you have some at the Manassas location.

I have been here a couple of times, however I went on Tuesday to purchase some crabcakes for my wife's birthday. The customer service and atmosphere were great, however when eating the crabcakes, we bite on some shells more than one time. I understand it's probably different to get the all the shells out. But what I paid I would expect the crabcakes to be shell free!!

Honestly, it is a must stop when you are in Manassas. The service is outstanding. The price is worth it ten fold. Just treat yourself to some crab cakes. Nobody needs to know when you decide to just go by yourself. 10/10

Just had the crab cake platter and am sad to say that the crab wasn’t the sweet meat of my first couple of visits; there was more filler and seasoning (perhaps to disguise the fact that the crabs weren’t meat wasn’t sweet?)
