I decided to treat myself after a long day, so I wanted to try this place out, the decor is very nice though the rice I got was a bit salty and the sushi was not well prepared. Overall, I would maybe explore something else on the menu just to see if it was just the food that I ordered.

I got the spicy tom yum with shrimp and added veggies.
Delicious! It has lemon and spicy flavor.
The waitress seemed scared, I guess she's new?
The owner was very nice. A bit pricey but it was worth it. About $35 with the tip. I'll go back when it's cooler outside to enjoy the soup again.

Tried this place out for lunch. Had the signature roll, the Manassas City roll, and the craken (sp) balls. Everything was excellent and freshly made - but the signature roll was a cut above. I will go back just to eat that again. Service was friendly and gracious. We're still talking about it.

Giving a 3 due to me not having tried all their food. My thai basil chicken fried rice was subpar compared to other thai places. A little pricey for the quality. Waitress brought my fiance and I a glass of water but mine had a a tiny baby roach dead floating on the surface. The roach didnt scare me away as i wanted to try the food out atleast. The food was not great but but not awful, but the floating baby roach in my water does not boost my confidence in the restaurant that other silver, plates, and glasses arent contaminated by roaches. We still tipped the waitress pretty good as its not her fault.

Quirky staff. Good sized portions. Really great flavors. If you like both sushi and Thai, they have a mixed bento box that includes an appetizer, Thai main and sushi rolls.

Gave this place a try tonight with my family! Mind you, we love Thai cuisine and have tried numerous dishes each with their own unique spin to things.

Let’s start off with service. Overall, lovely staff as they greeted us but kind of awkward as they didn’t give us a table so we were just standing by the door until they were like “oh wait…sit”

Food. We got their chicken fried rice and pad see ew; they put some sort of white pepper (very excessively) on both dishes and went extra heavy on the fish oil with the pad see ew. Fried rice was good as we removed the seasoning on top; no problem we’ll get it again. NOW, the pad see ew had problems as it was unbearable to continue eating even the beef didn’t taste right. Now, I get it they do things their way but it shouldn’t give the right to gas light us when addressing our reasoning to return the dish back as if we never ordered the dish before mentioning we have gone to only “questionable” Thai restaurants before.

The interaction was a bit off-putting but I would maybe try the place again for small plates and not full entrees.

I will be honest this use to be a sushi place inside of freshworld and it was amazing! But now that they have their own shop I think they changed who makes the sushi and it just doesn’t taste good. My sushi (dragon roll) was so bland and flavorless compared to how it was before. It also was so small I was shook.

I've been ordering from Lil Bowl ever since they were inside the international grocery store. Never had a bad meal with them. And I'm so happy they're now right up the street from me!!! 😃

I love the food at L'il Bowl! It's always fresh and delicious! I literally have good dreams about her Pad Woon Sen and many of her other dishes and then need to order it immediately! I am so impressed with the owner and her team, too! She has so much good energy and shares it with her customers and everyone who frequents her establishment.

It's one of my favorite Asian Fusion Restaurants (Thai and Japanese) and I would recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing meal and the opportunity to spend time with fun, uplifting people! I love dining in the best, but was touched that on a very busy day - like today, the owner personally delivered my order! :) Thank you!
