They closed without even letting the employees know
Omg... the best jamaican food I've had in a while ... they never answer the phone and the take 3 business days to cook your food
The restaurant was closed so we were not able to eat there.
Came on a. Tuesday and 2pm. And they were closed though Google stated they would be open.
First time going to Malakhi and it was a great experience. We tried the jerk chicken, curried goat, and the shrimp pasta, and the food was excellent. The restaurant was clean and spacious and I guess we got there at the right time as we were the only people there for awhile. There was only one person working out front and she did a fine job, though once the door dash orders started coming in and more patrons she was running around quite a bit.
They were out of several items, all their fish dishes and their jerk pork were unavailable. This was not a problem for us, but I am wondering if they perhaps just do not stock such items on week days. We will be returning to try some of their other dishes.

I used to love coming here to get my food but lately it's as if their customer service has completely depleted. There have been a couple of instances where I would order online the get to the restaurant and they were closed yet open on their website. Its hard to get them to answer the phone even when they are open. I honestly don't know if I will ever be coming back after how it has been lately.

Caught them just before closing was unaware of the hours and the hostess greeted me with a warm smile as if she was waiting for me all day. At closing the menu was a little limited so I didn't have much to choose from. I'm actually glad it was because the Jerk chicken I took home was absolutely amazing. I should have bought 2. Will return and highly recommend. Thanks Tina

Had the pleasure of trying the curry goat ! So tender & flavorful ! Coconut rice was perfect. I ordered an extra side of plantain & being I door dashed it the food was STILL hot when I received it. Wanted to return for my birthday for 4/25 but seen you guys were closed. I’ll be backkkkk!

Their food is truly good, I love their brown stew chicken With the cabbage and plantains. My only problem with this place is that they never answer their phone and some days they’re closed even when it says that they’re open. I’ve called before multiple times and then when I call again, the phone is disconnected so I’m not sure how they successfully run a business with the wonky hours.

My pregnancy cravings for oxtail led me here and I’m glad it did. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I thought the portions were really good too, especially for the price. I had oxtail, rice and peas, baked Mac and cheese, cabbage and a side of plantains + a ginger beer for $28. 10/10

Food is good for the area. However, the chef (tall skinny guy, maybe Malakhi himself) will make no accommodations for the customer. He has rules regarding customers , and he will not serve your food in separate containers just because it's his rules. I normally visit with at least four friends, and I now feel very unappreciated and will not visit this restaurant again. Good ridden. The waitresses, Trina, Barrie and Christie are awesome.

The best Jamaican food, that is local, hands down. The food is clearly cooked with love. The portions are huge and extremely flavorful. Recommend ordering ahead for pickup as they run out of patties.
