Tried the new pickle glaze sandwich. I love pickles so I was excited but there was nothing pickle-y about it, except for the traditional pickles. There was more breading than chicken. Same with the fried pickles- almost all breading. I had to wait in a parking spot for almost 15 minutes to get my order and then not a single napkin in the bag and without the ranch that comes with the fried pickles. Details matter.
Took forever to actually get my food. Ordered a shrimp basket and 6 PC wings in drive through. I ordered ahead of time. Got to the drive through and was still told to pull up and wait. After about 12 mins, I went inside thinking they forgot about me and still had to wait another few mins. Mostly inconvenient, otherwise the food was good
I did a drive thru visit at Popeye's, and the service was quick, but attentive once I got through the ordering process. ? I got the Shrimp Tackle box. I do like the way it tastes normally, but the shrimp seemed a bit overcooked today and the fries were cold. One thing I have noticed lately is that the biscuit that they are giving out has absolutely no butter on the top! Popeyes used to have the best buttered biscuits.
