Everything was flavorful and delicious! We loved the pernil, empanadas, plantains, and arroz con gandules. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant for the outstanding food and service!
The food was all extremely good. I got pork shoulder, stewed beans, white rice, stewed chicken, and a beef/banana fritter. At first it seemed expensive, but I went there for breakfast and ate the leftovers for both lunch and dinner, so it really wasn't. The only complaint I have is that they charge $0.50 for hot sauce and give you a teeny tiny amount in a little plastic container that isn't even enough to cover a 5th of the food. That's a very minor complaint though, and all around this place gets a full recommendation.

This is the best Puerto Rican restaurant in Northern Virginia by a mile. The food was authentic and it felt like I was eating in Puerto Rico. The staff was friendly, kind and welcoming to me and my family. The exteriors are nice. The pernil was delicious, the arroz con gandules was exceptional and the quesitos con guayaba simply amazing. Overall outstanding experience, I highly recommend it, we will be back.

Amazing food and an excellent value. A simple menu, available by qr code, that appears to change every day.

Best food ever! Real authentic food from the island.
Everything was so delicious, just like home :)
Always delicious, home style PR food that hits the spot. Well seasoned, rotating menu of classic and hard to come by PR dishes.

Have never been to this place before but i have always heard so many good things from friends so i needed to check it out. The owner and i think his wife it was, were absolutely amazing. The food was cooked very quickly and we even got a few deserts that the owner kindly offered us to have. The smell of the food in my vehicle driving home was so intoxicating I HAD to take a bite!! Im also from Puertorico so it feels so good to eat such an authentic plate of food as if youre back on the island. Will surely go again.

People are really nice! The food is LEGIT PUERTORICAN! The closest I have gotten to my mom’s cooking (may she rest in peace) as soon as they open the indoor seating location, I will be there like literally ALL THE TIME!Las donas puertorriqueñas estaban más buenas!!!!!!!!!
Parking: Some parking, I could not say how bad it gets if the place gets busy. I got one, with absolutely No problem!
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that would take you to the window no problems, but is the only way to go up and down. People are courteous and would look out for anyone!

As someone who was born and raised in NYC and lived for 10 years in Orlando, FL, the food at the Puerto Rico Cafe in Manassas, VA is an unexpected slice of home. A throwback to my youth and a way to embrace my culture and introduce others to the wonderful foods of Puerto Rico. And the service? Above and beyond. I am so grateful for the opportunity to enjoy the food and the ambience and the chance to expose others to Puerto Rican food.
