Everything was flavorful and delicious! We loved the pernil, empanadas, plantains, and arroz con gandules. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant for the outstanding food and service!
The food was all extremely good. I got pork shoulder, stewed beans, white rice, stewed chicken, and a beef/banana fritter. At first it seemed expensive, but I went there for breakfast and ate the leftovers for both lunch and dinner, so it really wasn't. The only complaint I have is that they charge $0.50 for hot sauce and give you a teeny tiny amount in a little plastic container that isn't even enough to cover a 5th of the food. This is the best Puerto Rican restaurant in Northern Virginia by a mile. The food was authentic and it felt like I was eating in Puerto Rico. The staff was friendly, kind and welcoming to me and my family. The exteriors are nice. The pernil was delicious, the arroz con gandules was exceptional and the quesitos con guayaba simply amazing. Overall outstanding experience, I highly recommend it, we will be back.
