Good food but we did not like that the chicken was delivered uncovered as shown in the picture inside of the bag. When the delivery person arrived, he immediately let me know that the chicken in the bag is delivered uncovered in order to keep the chicken crispy during delivery since moisture can soften it if there were a lid on it. It would've been nice to know this ahead of time when I called and placed the order. Had I known, I would have ordered something else.

Do not hesitate any longer. Walk in and order the crispy fried chicken. It is simply delicious! You will not be disappointed - at all.

Not bad, but they are little bit selfish and this reflex on their food quality, not a rich flavors in their food

Yesterday was our first time in this place. But It is obviously not the last. We had a good time with the excellent service, with the first-rate cooking and fine drinks and with the honest pay. We will absolutely visit there again.

This restaurant is amazing! Great food! I love every single thing I've tried. They are also great about following COVID guidelines and health codes. You can order in advance and pick up your food.

Giving them a 5, when I feel it's more of a 4.4999999 (I'm generously rounding up!). The food was excellent; it was nicely seasoned and plentiful in portion, definitely not greasy and was very fresh. The Beef with Chinese Dry Chili was really tasty! Wasn't "saucy" or greasy at all. It was loaded with fresh jalapeños which were cut up and stir fried with the beef. It wasn't overly spicy either, especially considering all the peppers visible in the dish. Their Taiwan Style Pot Stickers were perfectly done! A soft, sort of "steamed" wonton wrapper filled with a tasty minced pork and then pan fried so there was a nice crisp and browness to the outside, but it wasn't crunchy nor over-fried. The dipping sauce was a sort of sweet soy sauce, almost like a teriyaki and it was a nice compliment to the taste of the pot stickers. Fried rice that accompanied the Beef with Chinese Dry Chili (I upgraded from white rice) was decent, nothing special. Since I spent more than $20, I got a free order of spring rolls.... they were good, just the typical fried spring roll you're used to from Chinese joints. The place was clean and there was plenty of covid-related precautions taken inside. You can NOT eat in right now, so we took it to go. It took about 10 - 15 minutes for them to prepare the food. Prices are decent, considering they have standard American Chinese dishes for the same basic price as other places and their Taiwan menu is sold only as dinner-sized entrees, which are reasonably priced. I'll definitely return for their unique eats!

This spot simply knows how to please their clients. Constantly with a nice demeanor. The food is reasonably priced, regularly delicious and neat.

I was excited to try this place after the great reviews. Its located in a teeny cluster of 3-4 shops off the side of the road. It is a small little establishment offering take out but also with 5-6 small tables. Very informal with some Asian decor. I evaluated the reviews & ordered the Taiwan Special Rice noodle & the Salt & Pepper Fish Filet. I had never had the TSRN before so I wasn't sure what to expect. It is vermicelli noodles with caramelized onions & roast minced pork. It was cooked perfectly & had a very mild flavor. It came with a vinegar based sauce which was interesting but I don't think the size of the thimble condiment cup gave it that much additional flavor. It was very good but I think the mild flavor didn't make it a huge standout for me. The S&P fish filet was perfectly cooked. All white meat fish flashed fried tossed with chopped wok fried spring onion & green peppers. (It *normally* comes with wok fried spring onions & jalapeño peppers which gives it a fabulous kick!) I was expecting it be spicy so it was a bit of a disappointment although it was still very good. This place puts out AUTHENTIC TAIWANESE Chinese dishes so TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THAT & ORDER ACCORDINGLY! I will DEFINITELY recommend this place to others! I am looking forward to trying lots of the other menu items. I suspect all of them will be delicious based on my experience tonight. DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED!

Good food as always but be aware that their chow-mein does not have noodles. It only comes with onions, the protein you want, and cabbage lol we ate a bit of it but it definitely was not the Americanized noodle dish I'm used to.

They don't have dine-in available due to the small size of the restaurant, so I ordered take out. I decided to come here due to their good reviews, and I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup because I have been craving it for so long... I guess I've just been unlucky with the places I've been ordering it from, but I was so utterly disappointed again. It didn't taste anything like the Taiwanese beef noodle soup I love and was craving. The broth had no depth, the beef was on the side and super oily, but I had no complaints about the noodles. The meal was so lackluster.... I was just so sad eating it because my pregnant a** has been thinking about good Taiwanese beef noodle soup for months now. I don't think I will ever come out of my way to order food from here again just because of how disappointing my first experience was.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant in Northern VA. It's my go-to place for takeout. I recommend try a dish or two on the "Taiwan style food menu" section. My favorites are Beef with Chinese Dry Chili (you can ask for mild if you don't like spicy food, I always ask for mild) , Chicken with Chinese Dry Chili, and Taiwan style fried chicken. Fish Filet with salt and pepper, or fish filet with Black bean sauce are also very good. we also like Moo Shu chicken and Kung Pao Chicken on the regular side of the menu. Highly recommend.

This place is amazing! My wife and I have ordered/picked up from there twice this week after seeing a recommendation from someone on our community webpage. Not only are they really friendly, the restaurant is clean and the food was awesome. The serving size was enormous; enough for two meals per serving making it a great bang for the buck. Thank you, Taiwan Cafe! We will be referring you to everyone we know.

Food was excellent. The fried chicken was a wonderful surprise, we were absolutely shocked on the flavor, crispy, and tender chicken pieces. We are definitely returning. Thanks for the great food.
