When the rumor hit that is exactly why I headed to Taqueria Yasmin #2, the taco stand at the back of the Fresh World international supermarket in Manassas. Why is it #2? It’s a sequel to a taqueria that’s been operating in Mexico City since 1988.Those origins all but assures the flavors I was craving. Even better? On Friday, the taco Pastor is filled with pork carved from the turning spit.The taco Pastor is a Mexico City tradition, having started in Mexico by immigrants from The Ottoman Empire. The result is a tortilla which is filled with the deep-red strands of marinated pork, but also plentiful cilantro, onion, and burstingly sweet pineapple. to hold the ingredients together and provide a fun stretch. At Taqueria Yasmin #2, peppery red and tomatillo-based green salsas add a slap of heat to each gooey bite.

Best birra in manassas! I’ve been trying a few different places around here but this one takes the number one spot for birra tacos. it was AMAZING
I wanted to add a photo but it smelled too good and forgot! The place is all the way in the back of Fresh World. We had Birria, Asada, Carnitas and Chorizo tacos. All very very good. The service was amazing, was greeted and they were quick. 10/10 would recommend.
