I tried it for the first time yesterday. I made a quick stop to try the empanadas. Wednesday is $3 empanada day. Great chance to sample a variety. They were awesome. Better than the ones I preferred at the farmers market. A lot better! Bigger, too. Their menu looks great and we will be going back!!!

The arepa bowls are fantastic—I would much rather support this business than a big chain… they definitely use quality ingredients. I’m so blessed to live moments away, and I feel good serving this to my son after a long day.

I can only say that I was impressed with everything. It's a small place, but it has tables to sit and share inside and outside. My best friend and I sat outside, since it was a little cold inside, and the receptionist brought our order to the table.

We were in the mood to try everything, we ordered tequeños, empanadas, arepas and chicken boil. I can honestly say that everything tasted amazing ?. Highly recommended the place and the food.

My husband and I were excited to have a Venezuelan restaurant open near home. We just had to try it out, and we were not disappointed! The staff was very friendly, the place is small with three two-person tables inside and two outside, but it is clean and trendy with board and card games for use. The cashier brought us two mini spinach and mushroom empanadas on the house, just because we were new customers and my husband wanted to get one, but we passed on it.

The food was fresh and so delicious! We especially enjoyed the classic cachapa (come in for lunch and save $2) and the steak and plantain empanada. Prices are fair as the portions are generous, and they come with two delicious sauces.

We did try the tequeños, too, since it is Tequeño World after all, and they were ok, but not our favorite. We preferred the guava and cheese over the cheese only, which tasted strangely almost like a pig in a blanket without the pig.

We will definitely be back!

Kid-friendliness: This is not really a place for kids. Small space and tables, no visible high chairs or booster seats. Kids would enjoy the food, though.

Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible parking and curb entrance, but there is not an automatic door, and the wheelchair-accessible bathroom is partially blocked by a bookshelf.

As a first-time customer at Tequeno World located off Hoadly Rd, I was blown away by the incredible flavors of their tequenos and empanadas! The tequenos were perfectly crispy on the outside and oozing with delicious melted cheese on the inside. Each bite was a delightful combination of textures and flavors that left me craving more. And let's talk about the empanadas – they were simply out of this world! The golden, flaky crust enveloped a savory filling that was bursting with traditional Venezuelan spices. Each bite was like a little piece of heaven, and I found myself savoring every moment. The staff at Tequeno World were warm and welcoming, making my first visit a truly memorable one. If you're a fan of tequenos and empanadas, this is the place to be. I can't wait to come back and explore more of their menu!
