Best Kabob restaurant ever. They serve the best chicken and lamb kabob. My favorites are the chicken karahi and lamb chops. They have the best catering options available.

I went to a wedding recently and the food was catered by Zam Zam Kabob House. It was so delicious. From the fresh naan and juicy lamb kabobs to the Kabuli, palow, shola, and chicken kabobs, everything was cooked perfectly. The flavors were rich and authentic, and you could tell they really put a lot of care into every dish. I highly recommend Zam Zam Kabob House if you want delicious, high-quality Afghan food that leaves you satisfied every time.

Ordered Haleem and Nihari. I was told it would take 20 mins. By the time I got there, i was told it would be another 5 min because they're making it fresh. I'm not sure how they make it fresh because it takes hours to make make a good haleem and nihari. Anyways, Nihari was at best mediocre but the quantity was too little for thet price. All other restaurants in NOVA have a much gracious quantity and can be shared wjth 2 people. This one was barely good enough for 1 person.
Haleem was very grainy and didn'taste fresh. My recommendation, remove it from your menu because it's an art to make a good haleem and you are not even close.
Don't have to put every Pakistani dish on the menu.
Kinda disappointed 😞

The business on their actual Instagram has posted that they have breakfast. Drove more than an hour to this place with my family and visitors only to walk in to a completely empty restaurant and to be told that they don’t serve breakfast. When I asked the manager he said they changed it a month ago. Maybe they should update their advertisements so people don’t walk out as disappointed as we did.
Enjoyed food with my mother.
Very delicious karahi.

Atmosphete non existant. Service is worse. The guy was just relaxing no formal greeting, no smile. It seemed as if he didn't want me to be there. He literally over priced anything I was ordering without asking what size I wanted. He just wanted to charge the most he can until I asked for size and why. Then he started adjusting. Too much spices sauce an neglient amount of chick peas, they looked like grey to black spicy sauce. Unappealing at best. The simple bread had too much black ash stuck underneath. They didn't care to clean the oven. The shaved carrots with raisins were definitely made seoerately and they used them as garnish. It is wrong way to serve a great dish. To the cook and owner, if you cut corners it shows. I felt there was no pride in making your food. Shame on you. Even if you charge half of what is on the menu I will never come back. My money and time was wasted on this dump of a place. I am disgusted. Don't waste your time going to this place. I actually found shaving of metal on the meat which was over spiced and over cooked. Please do something else but food is not you thing. Fail all around.

As an Afghan who grew up in Virginia, I took two of my friends to this Afghan restaurant to honor them and share a part of my culture. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The manager was rude and unprofessional, and the food quality was shockingly poor. I truly regret not reading the reviews beforehand.
To make matters worse, my friends now keep joking about the awful experience and sarcastically ask me to take them there again—for laughs. It’s embarrassing and frustrating.
Please, don’t waste your money or time here. Even more importantly, think twice about your health before eating at this place. This restaurant does a disservice to Afghan cuisine and hospitality.

Terrible quality, the butter chicken was burnt, same with korma. They use tomato sauce, and the food has no flavor. And to add insult to injury, they overcharge for a small portions.
