Roadside seafood shack off Hwy 13. Fried oysters, hushpuppies and French fries were fantastic, cooked properly and tasty. The fried bay scallops and fried shrimp were over cooked and dry and tough. I fed them to their cats. Husband said his fried softshell crab was also overcooked. Disappointed. It did look like the locals were buying the sandwiches, so they might be your best bet.

Great seafood stop on your way through the area. They buy from local fishermen so their seafood is always fresh, not smelly like some places. If it smells, it's NOT fresh & time to leave! I enjoy the soft shell crab & crab cake platter, they're not stingy on the fries or hush puppies. Prices seem to always rise, so grab it while you can afford it....lol. Absolutely delicious seafood 😋 I highly recommend the well cleaned soft crab sandwich! It is so yummy!! The single fried oysters are delicious and freshly made to order as well. Come here for all of your seafood favorites!!
