It was so bad, went for cinco de mayo couldn’t get waited on took 15 minutes to take our order for drinks and another 15 to get the drinks ordered an appetizer took an hour and no one ever took our order for an entree. Don’t waste your time and money. The appetizer had no flavor

While staying at the General Francis Marion Hotel, we ate here. I ordered the Puerto Nuevo Special. It was absolutely delicious. The restaurant was really crowded but the service was very good. PN is conveniently located in the GFMH.

Puerto Nuevo might just be the best Mexican food I’ve had here in the States. I had the Puerto Nuevo Special (surf and turf), and I was blown away. The salsa bar and chips were even amazing. Service was great and authentic, and the food was incredible. I will be back.
